Publisher's summary

Dragon-shifter Eagan Drake knows Oliver Reaver is his mate. He's known it since they met, when Ollie braved Eagan's brother's den to try to save his business partner and best friend, Devon. The problem is, Ollie is convinced that Eagan needs a dragon mate, and that he's just an ordinary human.

Ollie loves Eagan desperately. He knows he should just leave and let Eagan find his true mate, but he keeps being drawn back to his dragon's side. When a dangerous vampire starts to stalk Ollie at his bookshop, he finally gives in and asks Eagan if he can come home to stay.

Now, if Ollie can just stop being the king of denial, Eagan knows Ollie can give him what he wants most. All his love, and a family of his own. But will Eagan be able to convince Ollie that he's a very special mate and let their dragons soar together?

Really good continuation to this series

Okay so we met Ollie in the first book when he appeared at Brand's house to save his best friend, and business partner, Devon. Ollie knows about dragons and that he is wildly attracted to Eagan. Eagan knows they are mates, but Ollie doesn't believe has it & at some point Eagan is going to find his mate & leave him. But he can't stop his attraction and gives in to Eagan. We have these navigating their way through a relationship. Eagan does every thing in his power to prove to Ollie that Ollie is the one & that Eagan isn't going anywhere. When DiMarco, the evil vampire, shows up and Eagan comes & saves him, Ollie finally decides that he doesn't care if they are mates, he wants Eagan with every fiber of his being. He will just have to deal when the times comes. I loved watching him awaken to the fact that he is indeed a dragon and Eagan's mate. I loved Arielle, Brand & Devon's daughter. She is so very bright & knows far more things then she should for a child of 1-1/2 years. I would want to have to deal with a child that breathes fire when she has a tantrum. I really enjoyed spending the holidays with all of them. I love Tyson & can't wait for him to find his mate. My only issue with this series is, we have an issue with DiMarco who kidnapped Devon in the first book for reason that are still not 100% clear as well as popping up for a moment in this book. All that is known is he wants a dragon baby. I'm hoping we get more information in the next book.

Ollie and Eagan's story expertly narrated

Eagan met Ollie, (his mate) in the first book; the problem is that Ollie doesn't believe he (Ollie) is a dragon, so while he loves Eagan, he's fully prepared to lose him when his fated mate turns up.
There's some back and forth between the MCs, but in the end, Ollie decides that his love is stronger and is willing to believe all will work out.
It's a low angst, fun story and can't wait for Tyson to find his mate and for the vampire threat to be stopped.
As usual, John Solo does a great job with voicing each of the characters - he has a knack for infusing the appropriate age, emotions, humour into the characters. It is always a pleasure listening to him!

Brilliant

This is the story of Eagan and Oliver. It is the 2nd book in the Dragon Hoard series. I love this series. John Solo absolutely brought this book to life. The intrigue keeps you rivited and the humor makes you laugh out loud. Loved it.

I received this book as an Arc and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

So much fun

I really love this series and am so excited the first two are in audio. DangerMouse is my favorite character and John does a great job of bringing her to life. I’ve read the next book and can’t wait to hear it in audio as well.

(Should be listened to in order for max enjoyment)

Love this series!!!

I'm happy to see Eagan and Ollie get their own HEA. Now it's Tyson's turn. These boys and their mates, swoon worthy!!!

The narration brought the book to life, Joel Leslie is one of my favorite narrators. I read book 1 then listened to book 2... wonder when/if book 3 is coming to audio? I probably won't wait to see, I'm too invested in this series.

Danger is lurking as the prophecy unfolds.

Can't wait to read or listen to book 3 in the series.

Ollie and Eagan

I adored Ollie and Eagan and was so happy to see them get their HEA. I love this world and these characters so much. It had so much heart and emotions. I couldn’t get enough of this story and I want so much more in this world. Their romance was great to get to see develop.
