It's everything

copenhander are just a perfect pairing. opposites both kind of wandering in their own way and they find each other on the farm when Xander moves to Copper Lake to help his aunt after she has surgery. cope keeps showing up and keeps being there for Xander helping him and befriending him. soon. their friendship turns into something more and although cope has never experienced feelings for a man, Xander makes it easy. these two are absolutely lovely and this is probably my favorite book in the series.

The perfect unlikely matchup!

The way that I loved Cope and Xander's story is just incredible. These two unlikely matches came together perfectly. Cope rides broncs and lives on a farm and Xander is a city boy through and through. Cope has this rugged masculinity that is perfectly portrayed and Xander has a sweet soft side that balances him so well. I loved how patient and sweet Xander was despite his deliciously sexy attraction to Cope. Knowing that Cope had never been with a man before, Xander was calm and patient and let Cope lead and I loved that so much because once they came together it was explosive and perfect. Their banter was also hilarious and I loved how much fun they had and all of the names for foreskin. I was laughing so hard. This group of friends that travels the rodeo circuit together are so fun and I just love them all and the way that they support each other.

The audiobook was narrated by Blake Lockheart and Dane Anderson and they did such a great job bringing these two to life. Their voices were perfect and I really enjoyed their performance.

I saw another review that described this book perfectly as a warm hug. A slow burn with low angst. A love story with MC's that communicate, care for each other and discover of a sense of 'home' in each other.
The narration took me a few chapters to love but it was perfectly cast for these characters.
This is a lovely listen with fluffy cows, deep connections, demi representation and characters I love.

Love this series

I recently discovered this series and I’m loving it so far! I love the sweetness and no angst. This is a classic opposites attract story. Excited for the rest of the series!
