Publisher's Summary

I tried to kill him. Accidentally, of course. But wouldn’t you do the same if you found an enormous, intimidating Navy SEAL rummaging through your house? Jackson Hunter barged into my life like a freight train. Unrelenting. Unapproachable. Unafraid. He made me realize things I wasn’t ready to realize - that I was lonely, hurting, afraid. I fell in lust with him. Possibly even in love. The only problem? He was my fiancé’s brother.

Three months before the big day, Emily finds herself anxiously planning a wedding without the help of her increasingly erratic fiancé Matt. And then, Matt’s brother Jackson comes along, intruding into her life uninvited and showing her what she’s missing.

Emily desperately tries to keep her carefully planned future on track. But with her growing feelings for Jackson and Matt’s cold, distant behavior, her plans unravel by the second, and she begins to fall for Jackson. A harmless little crush never hurt anyone...right?

This full-length 86,000 word Navy SEAL and virgin romance is part one of a two-part book series. It is intended for mature audiences. This two-book series will put you through an emotional roller coaster.

Good

This is a good story but the male narration was horrible. (Female)
If you think your book is good why not go out of your way to present it the best you can to draw the audience.
I wish these authors would just pay to have a male do the actual male part.
Could have been 5 stars.
Thanks

Narrator was a turn off!

Meaning, I had to turn off the book because I could not listen to the narrative any longer! Her male character sounds like a robot. Sorry. Want to finish it but cannot!

Weak woman.

Emily is a weak woman and so ignorant that I had a hard time even liking her. This narrator was so soft spoken that it only made Emily seem even more unlikable to me.

Total Disappointment

It had no conclusion. You kept waiting for the heroine to get a back bone and it ended with her being the same. It was also filled with characters you couldn’t like selfishly only interested in themselves. It was a total disappointment. There is also NO follow up so there is no resolution.

Hoping author reads comments before casting next time..

I’m only 11 chapters in, so not much to comment story wise yet besides a weak, naive heroine.

Ok, narration. Her regular voice for her own character is ok. (Not spectacular, just ok like I can get through this whole thing ok if that’s all she’s doing) Her male voice is not great, but I can tolerate it because I’ve heard worse. It’s her narration of other females that is absolutely horrendous. I mean, come on?! They sound like childish cartoon character impressions. Imma finish, because there’s really only been one audio I dnf (male narrator sounded geriatric and the character was late 20s/early 30s.. yuck) this is only book one of 2.. ugh this is going to be a long weekend.

I’ll review the actual story when I finish book 2. Fingers crossed for not many more female characters added.

OMG!

Well, I had to stop listening a few minutes before the finish. The narrator's voice for the male characters was very disappointing. Seemed like a good story line but it lost the appeal after a few hours.

Ok but should have read it

I don’t like giving negative reviews but the narrator was awful. Her voice is mousy and she is not good at men’s voices. If the author hadn’t included The Who said what, you wouldn’t be able to distinguish the 2 male characters. Wish I could get my money back on this one! The story was kinda whatever but I think it was due to the narrator.
