Getting to know Pendergast

If you could sum up Dance of Death in three words, what would they be?

Suspenseful, original, satisfying

What was one of the most memorable moments of Dance of Death?

I don't want to give away any of the terrific story line, but the reader really gets to know some of Pendergast's history and mysteries.

Have you listened to any of Scott Brick’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Oh yes, Ive listened to numerous book narrated by Scott Brick. I enjoy his style and his representation of Pendergast.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I couldn't put it down

Any additional comments?

This one came with a short story ' Extraction' that focused on something that was alluded to in 'Dance of Death'. While listening to many of the Pendergas books the reader is tantalized by an incident referred to in Pendergast and his brother's history. 'Extraction' is an amazing, imaginative clarifying story that gives the reader a satisfying understanding of what happened when the boys were young. I have always wanted to know more about the true origin of the hate that Diogenes has for Pendergas. This delivers....

Fantastic narration; great story

Whoa! What a ride! This was wonderful.

I have to respect authors who know how to use Dopler Shift and "couldn't care less" properly.

The tension in this book is strong. Scary - but I couldn't put it down. This trilogy has me hooked, for sure. One advantage to discovering a series late is that I don't have to wait for the next book.

I like the characters. So many interesting stories there. I'm especially interested in Constance.

Scott Brick is one of the best narrators. He adds so much to an audiobook.

This was great!!!

Earns It's Expectation

Everything you expect from a Pendergast novel and I'm immediately getting book 7...even if I have to pay full price!

Good book as all of them are so far.

Really good books so far. I really enjoy the mystery in all of them along with some seemingly supernatural to it.

Wow.

Like any fine art that improves with age, this does not disappoint. A grownup's indulgence that keeps you engaged to the point of sleepless nights. Go unabridged for all the detail that teaches as well as enhances the plot line.

A compelling story with a cliffhanger ending

Thoroughly enjoyed the read. It shows a bit more insight into Agent Pendergast without divulging too much and introduces a Sherlock vs Moriarty (sp?) element to the tales.

Haunting!

The authors know how to write a story and keep the reader on the edge. They very slowly draw the story out and turn up the suspense. They are the best I have read!

I can't wait to start the next and last story!
