Inspirational!

Love it when a book series can keep you entertained and each book just keeps getting better! Vivi Holt has a way of writing that is sweet, full of adventure and always has a great message. The Strong One gives us Sarah, who is a half breed, and when her parents die, the Indian Chief think it's best for her to marry a white soldier. Little does he know what Sarah thinks is best for her. The Betrothed starts out as a regency romance as Charlotte leaves England to escape an arranged marriage. She ends up in New York to find herself in a financial mess and ends up crossing the states to Montana with Camilla and Harry to the "old west". Cherished has Camilla, a woman who always has looked out for others, but now has decided it's her turn. I love her, full of spunk and wants to get on with her life. Faced with the decision of deciding between Clifford, the town sheriff and Winston, an easy to like man from her church. Season of Love has Margaret(Meg), Cutter Creek's school teacher. When 6 orphaned children come to town and begin to cause a little ruckus, she decides to take in all 6 and give them stability. She can't do it alone, and local bachelor Heath Moore comes to help her out. Captivated has Maria widowed and living with an Indian tribe before she even gets there! Her love story with Bodway is beautiful. And lastly, there is Beguiled. After working in the Rosita Saloon, and having her boss take all she has saved, Scarlett knows it's time to go. But where can she go to start over? If Joe Baker has anything to say about it, she will stay. This collection is so good, so easy on your ears and inspirational, you have to get it. Paul Curtis will bring it all to life with his narration, perfect for this western historical romance.

Endears itself to the heart ...

The Cutter's Creek series may be a little rough around the edges, but the character's pack more than enough heart to go around. Holt delves deep to create soulful tales of courageous people and the people that love them. Curtis has a voice that wraps itself around the heartache and endears itself to the senses.

Lovely Collection

This was certainly a lovely collection of western romance stories. I did find sections of some of the stories to drag a bit however I found most of them enjoyable and entertaining. I enjoyed the Christian aspect of the stories and the fact that they were sweet and clean romances. My favorite story was ‘Season of Love’. Margaret was such a caring and selfless person and Heath was honorable and giving. I loved the children and the storyline in this particular story and found it flowed really well. Paul Curtis did an amazing job with the narration. All his voices, accents and emotions were spot on and I will definitely be searching out other books he narrates. I did receive a complimentary copy and am providing an unbiased review.

Love old westerns and some indian stories.

This book is about Cutters Creek a small town and all the people who end up settling there. Each story hinges on the last. Great reading. The complete saga tells of all the people and their stories and how they come to settle there. So good.

Cutter's Creek

Cutter's Creek The Complete Saga
: Vivi Holt

This is a collection of sweet, clean, historical fiction romances. The listener will get to meet main characters, then with each story new characters are added into the mix. There are a wide variety of stories that all circle back to Cutter's Creek. It will take some time to listen, but it's a nice diversion.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed by Paul Curtis.

Great idea to bring a set together as an Audible

I had read all the books in this set except for the first two. Both were great stories. My favorite was The Betrothed. It is probably the most unique story in the series. It starts out in England and Lady Charlotte is told by her parents that it's time for her to marry. But Charlotte decides that she'll not marry the pompous old stuffed shirt Duke son she runs away to America. And because this is a Cutter's Creek story she ends up there. Vivi created some great characters and some interesting and surprising events and characters. Paul Curtis does a wonderful job with the narration. This is the first time I've done a boxed set in Audible and I found it a little difficult when I looked at the chapter index and found only one list with 169 chapters. But you can look at the run times on the chapters and find the ones that are 20 to 30 seconds for the beginning and ending chapters of each book.

Cutter's Creek

This revolves around people that live in Cutter's Creek. The stories are all different and have there own unique characters and backgrounds. Even though it does involve God the characters are not perfect. They make mistakes and it is a journey of how they get to the other end and the people they meet along the way.

Excellent

I got this book via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review. This collection of stories was a unique experience. They all were surrounding the town of Cutter's Creek but each was a complete story in themselves. even the ones where a brother and sister were involved both were unique unto themselves. I loved how God and His attention to His people was woven into each story. God loves all that He created but His ability to answer the call of the ones who know him as the true and living God was such a great part of this set of stories. There were several lol moments in each book and the characters interactions were just great. The narrator was excellent and fit the stories well.
