This was my first android romance and I was super impressed. I didn’t know what to expect, but I loved all the boys in this why choose. Some of them were a bit quirky and that made me chuckle a few times. I also loved the broody Avon-8 the most.

I loved the audio of this book. I felt like each character was represented well and I could tell who was talking and who’s POV we were on too. I think the narrators did a good job.

The overall story was great and all the twists and turns were surprisingly entertaining. I can’t wait to read more books by Kathryn Moon.

Space Smut

Nötchka Uumian pilots her way solo through the universe scavenging, living life on her own terms. On Bandelier, the Pleasure Planet, her first-ever heat hits. Not wanting to accidentally mate during the heat, she heads to the droid district. Due to a lack of funds, her only option is a run-down cozy house of older models. There she ends up bartering her engineering skills for 'servicing' during her heat. It should be perfect. No strings, no accidental mating, no danger. Except Nötchka finds herself developing feeling for the droids and they are declaring they are hers. And when a pack of Dendärys males set their sights on Nötchka, it only gets more complicated.

Space smut! I mean, the story is set around Nötchka's heat, so you have to expect insta-lust and lots of sexy times with the droids. There's not a lot of character development but the droids each have established personalities that make them very loveable, except for Gloss. I'm still not certain about him or his place with the group. K1NO was a goofball, KEV-1 was hysterical, ROM-EO was a sweetheart, GL0SS was a brat, and AVAN-8 was the most complex of the droids. It was fast-paced and a bit choppy at times, but I loved the humor and appreciated how intelligent and capable Nötchka was. It was a good diversion. My biggest complaint is the cover with Nötchka. I do not like the cover model at all; so much so that I had to change cover editions. Maybe, I am the only one but a cover can completely turn me away from a book. Luckily, I found the other editions.

Cassandra Medcalf and Jarman Day narrated. I liked Cassandra during the non-burn moments but she was a little too over-the-top for me during the burn. Jarman was fantastic as the Droids. He captured each droid's idiosyncrasies perfectly. His performance made the book for me.

An Unexpected Pleasure

This book sounded pretty good so I decided to take a chance on it. It turned out to be really wonderful. The cyborgs were all hunky guys with such distinct, adorable personalities. I adored everyone of them. The female lead was unapologetic in her enjoyment and not ashamed of her sexual appetite which was a refreshing way to handle a reverse harem in this genre. I appreciated it. It seemed more honest than the contrived shyness or feigned reluctance like most. This girl was happy to partake of all that was offered. Besides all that, there was an unfolding criminal plot with an Action-Packed ending. All in all a credit well spent!

Excellent Sci-fi Romance

Great premise, characters, setting, and performance. I love this author's books, and she really knocked this out of the park. Both the best RH romance and Scifi romance I've read this year.

OMG!!!!!

This is my first time listening to Cassandra Medcalf, but not Jarman Day...to be honest I just thought it was Cassandra Medcalf doing all the voices until the very end when they mentioned the narrators. I should have known Jarman Day's voice intonation but he was sooooo good here. When I tell you that the narration and intonations were not only on point but you could see in your minds eye the entire scenes play out.

I have to say that Nötchka literally ended up exactly where she was trying to avoid. It started as a payment in trade and ended up being a romantic, cyborg, action -packed, sexually vigorous story with so much laughter that it is like watching a movie through your ears!!!!! Romeo and Gloss and Kev1 are my favorite!!!!!!

I am hooked and looking forward to more by Kathryn Moon.

Funny, warm, and steamy reverse harem standalone

   I gave this book a try because of the fantastic narrator Cassandra Medcalf, but I was pleasantly surprised by how great the writing is in this standalone romance novel.  This is my favorite reverse harem of all that I have read.  It’s funny, steamy, action-packed, and full of warm-hearted people.  I love the colorful characters, especially the androids Kev-1 (hilarious), K1N0 (jovial), and Avan-8 (what a dry sense of humor).  While there are a bunch of love scenes, the author also provides nuanced characters, a distinct sense of place, and a reasonably good plot.  The heroine, Notchka, is very likeable, compassionate, and resourceful.  Her and her quirky but hot droids really fall in love with each other.  I totally recommend this book to readers who like funny sci-fi romance and those who like reverse harem books.  This audiobook is very entertaining.

   Cassandra Medcalf gave an excellent performance with her expressive and versatile alto voice.  She narrated the heroine’s chapters, which is about 70 percent of the book.  I got such a kick out of all her voices for the male droids.  Ms. Medcalf has marvelous comic timing.  Jarman Day did a very good job with the male-perspective chapters.

Overall V fun story!

This story was really fun and great to listen to over audio book. I adore every book Kathryn Moon writes but I do have others that are higher then this one. It's still worth a read.

Spicy with No Substance

Good Deeds has all the spice but misses one key ingredient...heart. Moon nails the spice but misses the mark on the romance because does the spice mean anything without the romance?

Loved It

I really enjoyed this book. It's my first from this author. Great world building and wonderful characters. I liked that each of the male androids had different personalities. It was easy to distinguish between them, and I liked the relationships they built with Nötchka in this reverse harem romance.

I listened to this on audiobook, narrated by Cassandra Medcalf and Jarman Day. I thought they both did a great job voicing their characters. It was easy to tell the characters apart by the different tones of their voices. Cassandra also portrayed emotion very well and accents.

Overall a very fun story that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Different

Nötchka is an independent scavenger by trade, a streetwise woman who knows what she wants. When she suddenly goes into her heat cycle for the first time, she finds herself delivering goods in the sex district. This immediately puts her in danger, the sex district is flooded with lustful males and she doesn't want to end up mated, domesticated and her solo life over. She needs someone or something to satiate her lust until the heat cycle is complete, but this comes at a price. Desperate, short on time and funds, Nötchka ends up in the Droid quarter. She finds herself at a dilapidated droid run pleasure house with broken service droids. Quickly haggling for pleasure in exchange for her fixing the droids, what transpires next is.......interesting.

This is a reverse harem, human-like/android, stand-alone romance with mystery, thriller elements thrown in. The lines between the android's being non/sentient beings are blurred here, so the droids 'catch feelings' for Nötchka and get 'emotionally' attached to her. This is my first time reading Kathryn Moon, and the book was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for something different than the usual romance books within this genre.

Nötchka is a no nonsense, kick butt female that knows what she wants. She is also scavenger who makes a stops at a pleasure planet to make a delivery. It is there she experiences her first heat. She wants to avoid bonding at all costs and so seeks out a Cozy House in the Nuts and Bolts district . Hoping it will be impossible to bond with an android. Problem is she finds herself falling for not one but five of the house’s inhabitants. The unexpected happens and bots start developing feelings. But with love and mating to the bots. But sex trafficking is alive even on a pleasure planet, with the help of her new mates, they helps those being trafficked.

Loved the dual narration of Cassandra Medcalf and Jarman Day. Perfec

RH Android Romance

Good Deeds by Kathryn Moon is a reverse harem android romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Cassandra Medcalf and Jarman Day.

This is the first book of Kathryn that I have read, and it won't be my last. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Nötchka, Avan-8, GL0SS, ROM-E0, K1N0, and Kev-1. I liked that we got all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Cassandra and Jarman did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like reverse harem romances, android romances, or science fiction romances.

I'm a huge Kathryn Moon fan which means I should have known I’d love everything about this story!! It was my first android romance which had me a little scared but everything that mattered was a human! NÖTCHKA was a smart spitfire with an omega heat! I loved her five guys and how each had different talents and personalities! I wish there had been more! I want KM to write more stories like this! (I'll have to search & see if I'm overlooking some! lol) Though I love her monsters!
The narrators were FANTASTIC!!
This book was HOT & SPICY! Cassandra & Jarman brought it to life! I look forward to more from these narrators!

Out of This World! Amazing Story & Narration🎧

This fascinating and out of this world sci-fi romance grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it the entire time. It is my first Kathryn Moon book, and I enjoyed her writing style and the characters and storylines she created, they are interesting and original. The character development and world building, both the omega verse world and the physical world, are fantastic. It was great to learn the different of alien people, including the man made androids, or alien made. Nötchka a Dendärys female who opted to travel instead of mating and settling down, she became a scavenger hunter and travels to the different planets to find items to sell. She landed Bandolier and was looking forward to checking it out, but then her heat kicks in and not wanting a mate she heads to the Android village to satisfy her needs and there is not getting attached to android. Those were her thoughts before she met and got to know Avan-8, Kev-1, Rom-eo, and KIno. I loved how everything played out in this why choose reverse harem romance, it is a cleverly plotted story with the perfect balance of drama, angst, humor, some twists and turns, action, mystery, heartfelt emotions and lots of steam. Kathryn Moon, thank you for this wonderfully imaginative and entertaining story. 

🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Cassandra Medcalf and Jarman Day were the perfect cast to bring these characters and story to life. They did a great job portraying the characters, giving each their own voice and personality, and were believable in every role they played. Medcalf nailed it as Nötchka, grasped all sides of her personality, from her fierceness to her neediest of moments. Day did wonders with is characters as well and both were fabulous performing the roles of the secondary characters too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions which were heard in their performance. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this fabulous listen.
