A control freal looks for love (women who leave wet teaspoons in sugar bowls need not apply).
David Mitchell, who you may know for his inappropriate anger on every TV panel show except Never Mind the Buzzcocks....
In this book I have attempted to solve each and every one of life's problems. And I have succeeded....
Rules for being a man: don't cry. Love sport. Play rough. Drink beer. Don't talk about feelings....
Twisting and turning through surprising stories and hilarious digressions, this is the story of a young man's journey to the pinnacle of comedy ....
The debut release from Britain’s hottest breakthrough comedy star.
Having stormed shows such as Have I Got News for You (BBC1), Live At The Apollo (BBC1), Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Road Show (BBC1) and now as the new host of Channel 4’s Stand Up for the Week and team captain on 8 out of 10 Cats, the brilliantly funny Jon Richardson is the UK’s rising comedy star to watch out for! Discussing the everyday items that have a profound effect on his outlook, Funny Magnet is Jon’s new hilarious sell-out show that will be touring the UK in 2012 and recorded for his highly anticipated debut release.
Sublimely brilliant, stunning.... He is a comic right on the verge of greatness. If you haven't seen him yet get your finger out and sort it.
I love Jon Richardson from 8 out of 10 Cats, but really didn't know what to expect from his standup. I loved it. All of it.
Loved it. Got the dvd so Its convenient to listen to in the car. Everywhere I go
needs some audio description at the opening and end as something is happening and I'm missing it?
Always loved Jon Richardson! This show isn't quite as good as his Nidiot show but I still absolutely love this show! Cannot wait yo see him on his old man tour next year! :)
Amazing show by Jon Richardson, would recommend this to family and friends, well worth it
I really enjoyed it , it's not a book like I was expecting but a stand up. If you want to enjoy something for an hour car ride definitely a good choice.
Some laugh-out-loud highlights include the drawn-out description of telling adults the 'proper' way to do washing up [why does this wine taste of bacon...it's because you washed the baking tray before the wine glasses! etc.], nudging wayward Housemates towards recycling [why would they leave the cereal box on the window ledge NEXT to the recycling bin...entirely to spite me?!] and the perils of finding love with OCD [I spend my 20s cleaning skirting boards, thinking 'what woman doesn't love a clean skirting board']. Panel show fave doesn't disappoint with his own material - yet another example of this reviewer looking bonkers on the train, snorting with laughter whilst listening.
