Because it's Jimmy Carr - recently scientifically proved to be the funniest comedian in the UK - there are jokes, jokes and more jokes throughout. If laughter really was the best medicine, the NHS would be handing out this book in Nightingale Hospitals.

Fascinating, thoughtful and insightful - are all words that appear in the audiobook.

Fun. insightful. Interesting.

Jimmy Carr gives a fun glimpse into his mindset. He uses his wit to bring insights to the reader. Like many comics, he even more interesting than he appears on stage.

Insiteful and really funny!

I enjoyed it so much I listened to it twice, it has a lot of things that I agree with and he does a great job of making the transfer of knowledge comical.

Some seriously solid advice

I’ve been in the dumps lately and just wanted a laugh, and for $3 I figured why not. Turns out there was solid advice I needed to hear in this book. Jimmy’s a hilarious guy, but I didn’t know much about. His background and mine are similar, so it was nice to hear about a guy dealing with failure and behind the scenes crap and how he overcame. It’s a good book, and yes, it’s funny as well.

didn't realize what I was getting into

I expected a more autobiographical story from the soothing voice of Mr.Carr and, after adjusting expectations, have found it insightful and focusing. Glad I bought it.

I want more.

I literally said, "Don't end it now." Thoroughly entertaining and informative. Truly, a self-help book that makes the genre worth listening to. I wish this book was around when I was in my 20s. I listened to many books of this type back then. This one may have done what the subtitle says. Sadly, Jimmy was in primary school when I was in my 20s and it is too late for me now. I have passed the book to my niece. She can now laugh and learn. Thank you, Jimmy.
