Loved Killian & Tessa! Fantastic duet narration!!

𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐲 is the 4th and final book in the Ember Falls Series by Corinne Michaels, featuring a top tier cowboy romance with a great mix of tropes that takes Killian and Tessa on an exciting journey fueled by emotion, undeniable chemistry, and an intriguing side of suspense, just to up the ante! Normally I’m not a huge fan of large age gaps, but there’s something special about these two characters and their circumstances. I don’t know if it was Tessa’s maturity, or the fact that they were both such compassionate caretakers, but I just loved every moment of the way they connected and worked together. And that initial fiery chemistry took on a life of its own!!🔥 The twist of the double forbidden aspect was sooo good, bringing the angsty tension that is just so yummy, especially on audio!! Don’t get me started on the suspense plot line! I was completely riveted, and totally shook by the turns it took!!👀 The Ember Falls crew came out en masse with their goal-worthy friendships, laugh out loud moments, and unconditional support! You have to love that ultimate frisbee crew!🤪 This series is a prime example of why I love small town romance so much! A talented author can find a way to make it unique, and still feel familiar and welcoming.

The audio narrated in duet by Austin Stone and Samantha Brentmoor felt like a master class! Not only did they expertly embody Killian and Tessa and all their emotions, chemistry, and nuances, but they also had to tackle the 3 previous couples, supporting characters, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 another character’s cameos!😉 I wholeheartedly recommend this audiobook!! I just wish I would have also had the ebook for an immersive reading experience, so I could highlight quotes!!😂 I cannot wait to see what Corinne Michaels comes up with next!!
