The annoying FMC

I love the grumpy x sunshine trope but have almost DNF’d too many books because the FMC sounds like a shrew. You can write a successful woman without cutting down the MMC

This was a cute book, and I really enjoyed it. I loved Odette’s friendship with Izzy, they were so supportive of each other! I anticipated the 3rd act, but it still made me sad for all involved. So happy they found their HEA.

I loved the dance Odette and Noah kept up in the beginning; it was fun watching the tension build between them. I didn’t enjoy how much Odette laid into the family curse. It didn’t just influence her decisions, it ran her life, and she blamed all negative things that happened to her on the curse and took zero accountability for any of her own actions that contributed.

Chloe Ryan and Nelson Hobbs narrated this book. It was my first time listening to them and while it wasn’t my favorite performance, I look forward to listening to them again in the future.

Grumpily Ever After was a romance book that I sank into and finished in one sitting! It’s light, cozy, and low angst with just enough spice to keep things interesting. I prefer more spicy but it was still good! If you like light spicy, this has that.

This was an easy, feel good rom-com with charming characters, funny moments, and a comfortable small-town vibe.

Noah and Odette worked so well together, and their secret romance was adorable and sexy without tipping into heavy drama. A solid, enjoyable read that’s perfect when you want something familiar, comforting, and easy to love, and I’m definitely looking forward to seeing more of them in the next book.

I had such a good time with this story. Grumpy men just do it for me. Then you fold in an unlucky in love "cursed" woman and I am all in. This was full of light hearted moments and emotional growth. This was my first time reading a book written by Teagan. I fell in love with her character depth and development and the fluidity of the story.

The tension and chemistry between Odette and Noah is front a center from the beginning. I loved waching it grow. The reason for the forced proximity was a fun take. It helped then become closer and give them the ability to overcome their hangn ups. They both fear relationships but over time they become to intertwined and fall madly in love.

I cant wait for book 2 the teasers have me ready.

I switched over to the audiobook when in became available because ive been so sick. I was 65% in but I started the story over and it was even better with the audiobook.

Chloe Rvan and Nelson Hobbs are the narrators for this story and i absolutely loved thier acting. Nelson was perfect at playing Noah and his grumpyness while also portraying his soft and caring side. Chloe is a great Odette her ability to make Odettes personality shine and come through the speekes conveys such talent.
I love them both they kept me engaged throughout the whole story. I cant wait listen to more by them.

A little best friends brother with some age gap…yes please

This story was entertaining Odette is absolutely hilarious I loved Her personality so much! Noah such a grump! The two of them are perfect! The fact that the person who didn’t want them together brought them together *chefs kiss*. I really Enjoyed the banter between these two and the story was sweet and wholesome! The age gap…..who doesn’t love an age gap where the fmc had a huge crush for so long! Such a good read/listen. If you enjoy best friends brother, age gap, grumpy/sunshine this is a story for you!

Both narrators were great for this story. They brought these two to life so well. I’m very interested to see what’s next in this series
