Adorably Cute

The story itself was cute, the usual in hiding and scared to come out story line. There were a couple of things I didn't understand like ship lines, I think that's what they were called.
Abby Craden as always brought the characters to life, and narrated beautifully.

Being in the closet is hard

How can one be completely happy when one cannot be completely themselves?

Andrea loves her job, but she doesn't love that she had to go in the closet when she got her job.

Freddie is out, but she cannot act out in front of her family. Her father is handling her being a lesbian, but her mother is not and her grandparents have no idea.

Freddie and Andrea's relationship starts out completely in hiding. After getting verbally attacked by a gossip rag writer Andrea decides she can't handle lying anymore.

Can Andrea handle coming out to the public, and can Freddie handle her parents and grandparents seeing her in the media as Andrea's GF.

Humor and Love

What a sweet love story with some gut laughs and chuckles mixed in. And the voice of the ever wonderful Abby Craden makes this a must listen!

Low key loved this book

This book was really enjoyable. It wasn’t brilliant but it was solid writing, nicely paced, and incredibly tender and kind. The MCs just liked each other throughout the whole book and treated each other with respect and care. There was certainly an arc to the plot; they faced some tough challenges together, but overall it was a pretty low conflict read, which was just what I needed. Very warm and fuzzy.

Painfully, lovely

I really liked this novel. I actually think it portrayed real life. Love filled with pain. Thank you, Olivia Janae. Now Abby Craden is a plus to any novel. This one will surprise you. Please try it.
