easy going fun story very enjoyable

must I say more than "LORI PRINCE " one of the best voice actors I ve ever enjoyed any story is Amazing with Lori

Shorter than my usual but great book.

I try to get the most bang for my money but this book was really good, didn’t expect to like it as much it surprised me. Lori Prince of course always great!

Butting Heads

Alex was more patient than I would have been with Vivian's attitude. When you're freezing in a broken down vehicle in a major blizzard, you don't have a beatch attitude towards the person saving your arse. I would have given Vivian a choice, quit with the attitude or stay where you are and freeze to death.

The struggle

I thought that they were not going to get together until the end. I love her stories

Survival at its most intimate

Enjoyable story of survival and chance meetings of strangers. Performance was excellent. I highly recommend this first book and look forward to the rest of the series.

book 2

would love a book 2 that starts at the ending of the Epilogue, maybe a flash book story intertwined with the present story of them getting married like the engagement and then all the way up to the marriage. crazy problems in between and they're both looking back of how they got to that point of getting married intertwined with it

Cute story

Loved the ice lady who softens well and the forest lady who warms up to her… well written, well narrated, this was a pleasure.

Not a favorite

The concept was good, but I found myself rewinding to see if I missed something about how they hooked up. Character development needs work. It was a short listen compared to other books, so there was room to expand on the characters for sure.
I know I’ve listened to other Lori prince narrations, but this one was a struggle. I thought maybe she had a cold in the beginning, then the pauses and angry sounding voices, not sexy at all. Came across as assault more than romance to me. Strange for sure as I never remember thinking this before.
Will try this author again and see if it gets better.

Narrator was the only good thing about this book

How did this even get published? Badly written characters. Toxic relationship from the get go. Details change, is it a paper flower or a paper bird? Did Vivian have some sort of personality lobotomy 3 chapters in? Don't waste your time or money.

The Narrator Ruined the Story!

The narrator was so horrible. She sounded like an old pervert troll through most of it, and if that is her idea of what a lesbian is, I hope she never narrates another such Brooke. What the heck was up with reading slow motion and then all of a sudden, throwing one more word to finish the sentence in. I tried to get through it, and just couldn’t. I will be sure to not listen to any other books she narrates. Sad though, because I was looking forward to the book.
