American Emily Jackson has been in love with her best friend's oldest sister Savannah for as long as she can remember. Which is why a family wedding in far-off Scotland is a dream come true. A week trapped in the Highlands with Savannah is exactly what she needs to prove that they belong together.

Harry Lorde has a problem. Attractive women make her fall over, spill drinks, and generally make an idiot of herself. Understandably, this has made dating not just hard, but impossible. So she's not expecting much in terms of romance when she heads to her best friend Gabe's wedding in Scotland. But when sabotage starts to threaten not just the wedding, but also Harry's dog Elsie, Harry and Emily find themselves on the case. The mystery might be deepening, but so are the feelings, and best of all, Harry hasn't fallen over once.

Love has many faces, and while romance fan Emily is expecting fireworks, Harry's just afraid all those bangs might come from her falling downstairs. But with disbelieving best friends, femme fatale sisters, a movie star handsome hotel receptionist, and a dog that can't get enough bacon, this is going to be a wedding to remember. And two of the guests are about to lose their hearts, hopefully to the right people . . .

This is a delicious story of Harry and Emily who meet on a train on their way to a destination wedding in Scotland. Their new friendship turned romance was heartwarming while they were in the midst of solving the possible wedding sabotage. The mystery was an added bonus to this delightful tale filled with lovable and engaging characters. Kudos to Quinn Riley’s narration as well! I highly recommend this!!!

This story was crazy but fun. I was invested in the mystery. Even the back stories were great. I know it's not the logically true love story but anything is possible.

Funny love story

Sienna, this book was more than interesting. It kind of gave us a double whammy. Love and Mystery. Would like to know a little bit more about Sara. Hope I spelled it right. Loved the main characters, lots of diversity. People you know what I am going to say - please buy this one. You will like it, I'm very sure.

Goofy cute characters that were well developed. A romance intermingled with a wedding and a mystery which made this a fun read- the ending brought tears to my eyes- Quinn Riley is a phenomenal narrator but in this story she forgot to use the British accent a few times when appropriate- those few hiccups did not take a way from my enjoyment- (maybe because I have listened to many QR narrated books and I appreciate that mistakes happen.
I highly recommend this book

This was a wonderful story, with some suspense and lots of humor. Well written and Wuinn Riley’s narration made it a real pleasure. She is excellent at accents British, Scottish.

Loved this book

It was cute and sweet. Loved the whole wouldn’t this be funny if this vacation was a sapphic troupe. That’s what happens when an avid romance reader hopes for the troupes from the books she reads come true. Not much for spice. The ending of some chapters ended abruptly. I found myself backing the story up because I felt like I missed something. Overall it was a low angst cute listen.
