A Very Fresh New Look to Practicing CBT!

I was very surprised and very pleased at the structure, topics and writing of this text. purchased a hard copy for some detailed practice. It is solid C B T information - using some of the experiments and forms in the book should prove quite interesting...

It's worth your precious time

It's like learning to drive, except it's your brain. I listened to it over and over again ! Thoughtfully well done 👏

I had to give up due to reader

Sorry. This is one step away from having a book read by the speaking clock. Monotone and completety devoid of any nuance or compassion.

Great content

Excellent book context, very poor narration. The narrator is monotonous. However the messages in the book are brilliant and help with anxiety.

Is this book narrated by a computer?

I don’t think this had been narrated by a human. The intonations are false. Sounds like narration from Microsoft Word.

Like the other reviewers I couldn’t listen to this so I can’t connect on the content of the book but had to give a rating so I chose an arbitrary 3

Not what I hoped

I have v2 of this book on print and it is very helpful. I was interested in v3 on Audible. I like to use Audible as I spend a lot of time in the car. Unfortunately I cannot get on with the reader on this recording. It’s disappointing but the text is read very slowly and even if you speed it up I find it impossible to listen to.

Absolutely awful reading

No idea if the actual book is any good as I couldn’t get past the first chapter of this audio book. The person reading this has the most boring, monotonous and android sounding voice I’ve heard to date.
The tone sounds patronising and disingenuous.
Would recommend buying the actual book instead.
