Entertaining and informative

It was a great sweeping overview of history. I would recommend for anyone wanting to hear about history of the world. It did a good job of keeping you entertained throughout.
The speaker reminded me any my wife of Casey Kasem.

Interesting history

I enjoyed its not just a book of facts and dates, I also just love history

Jumped around

I expected a nice linear history summarization, this book jumps around and seems to have about a dozen introductions into the book. Mostly on how vast our history is, and references all over the map.

Too many chapter suggestions

Just give me the facts in order of events. Don’t tell me to refer to chapters for more info. Not wise for an audiobook. May be quite good on paper - not for an audiobook.

Unnecessary Apologist

Overall book is useful but jumps around constantly with constant referrals back and forth to other chapters. Too many movie references, so very dumb, which is fitting. Unnecessary mentions of people like Washington and Jefferson owning slaves, and fathering slave children where there is no need or context for the mentions. Same with Columbus and then touting Biden making Columbus Day into indigenous peoples day. This is supposed to just a fact based history, not a woke apologetic tour through history. Hopefully the 4th edition will be straight forward.
