Publisher's Summary

Do you ever feel like life seems to take extreme delight in brutally dealing with you as far as unfair outcomes? Do you struggle to sustain any sort of relationship in your life? Have you recently experienced an embarrassing emotional outburst that just seemingly happened for no particular reason? If you can relate to these scenarios, then you are not alone.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Made Simple: The 21 Day Step-by-Step Guide to Overcome Depression, Anxiety, Anger and Negative Thoughts provides practical solutions for dealing with your emotions. As a result, you will gain a deeper insight into who you are as an individual and why you probably act the way you do.

Inside this audiobook you will discover:

  • An in-depth analysis of anger, anxiety, depression, and negative thoughts
  • The most effective methods used in cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Simple steps you can implement daily to transform your life in just 21 days
  • How to control your emotions and subsequently take control of your life
  • How to be assertive without being aggressive in your relationships with others
  • A practical guide for living your best life now
  • And much more!

Many books that talk about cognitive behavioral therapy tend to be overly clinical in their approach and esoteric in their methods. In turn, this type of “medical mumbo jumbo” makes it extra difficult for the average person to clearly understand the concept, much less internalize the message enough to apply it to practical use in his or her everyday life. This audiobook brings your common emotional problems to the forefront and then breaks down the solution. Cognitive behavioral therapy essentially is all about putting you in better control of your emotions.

To ensure that you get the most from this audiobook, there is a step-by-step guide included for daily application. Those steps will get you from where you are now to exactly where you want to be in the future. There is no magic to it. All that is required is a little effort from you, and it starts with you simply proceeding to listen on.

This was the best book

This was the best book I have used for anxiety and panic attacks. I haven’t ever thought so in depth to what the root cause is of my problem. I use to not be able to leave my house, this book helped me get myself out of the house (anxious) but get the right mind frame to do it. I have tried several different CBT books and even been to a few therapists and nothing helped me like this book.

I am excited to go through this book. This book helps set goals ,identify thought patterns, break negative thought patterns, face your fears among other things. It is a workbook so you can look back and see your progress from beginning to end. There is plenty of space to write, questions to guide you and information to define each area you are working on.

Purchased for myself and later for a relative.

Purchased for myself and later for a relative. Do the work and you'll probably see results. It can be difficult to find CBT practitioners in many places, and this book is a nice way to get started at least.

I liked it. I have been going through CBT

I liked it. I have been going through CBT to deal with some anxiety and this gave me a greater understanding of why we do certain activities and exercises certain ways and it really has helped me get the most of my sessions.

The book is very informative

The book is very informative. It explains how to conduct CBT by yourself, and when to ask for help if needed on your CBT journey. I like that it gives you a workbook to help you get started and gather your thoughts. Throughout the listening, it gives you examples of thoughts that you can use and questions to ask yourself when analyzing those thoughts and emotions. It helps you personalize the experience for yourself.

Great one!!

This book is great. It provides a step by step guide on using CBT in therapy. There are activity sheets and dialogues showing how to use CBT with clients. Some of the examples may be a bit unrealistic as there is little conflict portrayed. This book is also easy to listen and comprehend which is great when one has a lot to listen for class.

Easy to listen!!

I have received a copy from the publisher for review. There is an epidemic of mental health issue today with minimal help at times. Many everyday people deal with anxiety and depression without admitting it at times. This book is a great resource to be able to get through tough issues.
