This was the best book


This was the best book I have used for anxiety and panic attacks. I haven’t ever thought so in depth to what the root cause is of my problem. I use to not be able to leave my house, this book helped me get myself out of the house (anxious) but get the right mind frame to do it. I have tried several different CBT books and even been to a few therapists and nothing helped me like this book.

Nice Book

I really enjoyed this book


I really enjoyed this book! It is incredibly easy to follow and the techniques are natural and progressive. I love that this approach affirms our own ability to heal our own mind while drawing on our own strength but also encourages openness in reaching out for professional help.

Must listen!!!

I am excited to go through this book. This book helps set goals ,identify thought patterns, break negative thought patterns, face your fears among other things. It is a workbook so you can look back and see your progress from beginning to end. There is plenty of space to write, questions to guide you and information to define each area you are working on.

Purchased for myself and later for a relative. Do the work and you'll probably see results. It can be difficult to find CBT practitioners in many places, and this book is a nice way to get started at least.

Very listenable and I started treating myself


Very listenable and I started treating myself right away after the first few chapters. It is an excellent layman treatise on the subject. Finally I know what CBT is and I can use it on my patients and on myself.

This is a great introduction to CBT


This is a great introduction to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Almost everyone can benefit from CBT at some point in their life. It's easy to read and very helpful in understanding yourself and those around you.
