a very quick listen , with some helpful tips

i am new to having anxiety and i was looking for something more focused on dealing with that , this just explains the different types of therapy available and what you can kinda expect when you go... overall message if you need help go get it !! beacuse you can get better.

fantastic guide


After being in a rehabilitation program that focuses on CBT, this book is a great refresher to help after you leave. I had a more severe case of anxiety and depression which required a more inpatient program.

Short, Sweet, and Incredibly Handy

David Clark does a superb job of summarizing his tips with highly factual and research-based evidence. I found this book to be incredibly helpful, especially as something to listen to while practicing mindfulness and doing my own research. This book is just the extra boost in confidence and knowledge I needed to better understand what is happening, why it is happening (from a scientific standpoint), and what I can do to fix it. Of course, there is no cure, but knowledge is power, and this book gives you the knowledge and tools you need to face your mental unbalance with proven CBT techniques.

A must-read, indeed.

What I liked about this book is that the topics covered were discussed in a concise and very comprehensible manner. You don't need to learn major scientific stuff to understand what David Clark is trying to discuss. I've learned so much about how the brain works and reacts to depression and other negative feelings we feel.

Excellant and simple but effective,,, buy it !!!! It will help you with whatever you are going through in your life, I recommend writing your answer in a notebook so you can do it over and over again...EXCELLENT !!!!
