Publisher's Summary

Are you struggling to gain your independence? Are past traumas keeping you from evolving into the person you long to be?

The truth is that human nature encourages us to seek out others. This has proven to be one of mankind's greatest triumphs, but when we start to rely on people to fix our problems for us, we start to fall into a codependent connection and stop mastering ourselves.

To fix this we need to reconnect with ourselves and figure out how to gain clarity of thought and emotion. When we are aware of our greatness and our flaws, we can start to formulate a plan to rise above whatever you feel is holding you back. This journey can include other people, but before you recruit people, you need to realize you’re the captain of the ship and be clear on your destination.

In this book you will learn:

  • To identify which kind of codependent patterns you have
  • How to uncover your greatest weakness
  • Techniques to identify when you’re overreacting
  • Red flags to look out for when trying to build trust
  • The one thing you’re doing that’s preventing your growth
  • The importance of clear and empathetic communication

Even if you have struggled for years to let go of something or someone you can start to move forward today. You can become a better you.

Already in Progress

This book helped to determine that I am both - the codependent and the addict. I have been seeing a therapist regarding my issues. This book gave me clearer picture of the healing process. Self respect, self acceptance, forgiveness, and letting go of guilt were my setbacks. Codependency No More showed me where to begin an do t as taught me how to be mindful and it's ok to have set backs are ok. This is a process than can't be rushed. I will benefit tremendously from the nuggets gained in this book.

A Life-line in a wilderness of hurt & dispair

This book has been a Life-line in a wilderness of hurt & dispair.

Leaving someone you love and trying to heal from the relationship, without understanding the emotional guilt and sadness you carry within, over it all, can go on for months, even years.

I was fortunate to be emotionally enlightened as to the pattern & reasons why I was struggling to heal. Fortunate to be shown the path forward, and to finally understand how to get emotionally unstuck.

I am a recovering codependent, except now, I am internally aware of my pattern, and now, I can partner better without being afraid to love & express my needs within a relationship . In addition, I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel of loss, guilt and shame.

I will progressively move on to the next phase by practicing release.

This book has been a life-line... and I recommend it

I would equally recommend the book: "Codependent no more"

my 2 cents...

Basic information, nothing new

This book condenses what you’ll learn in any book about codependency but there is really no guide to recovery given.
