A classic tale of love, set in early 20th century Japan. This is a love story that will not only leave you teary eyed, but will also inspire you.
but poetry is not enough. There is so little character development from scene to scene here that one doesn't care about Tokiwa or her lover much at all... And I never comment on narrators--but this one was THE WORST. One of the co-authors, he embarassasingly mispronounces words, stumbles, and sounds like he is making the recording in one try on a cellphone at the bottom of a dank fifty foot well.
