I love the performance!

I read the light novel before these Audiobooks came out but I still purchase the audiobook because I enjoy listening to Jeff Hays narrate this series. He does a great job with the performance and you can tell he puts a lot of energy into this series. I can't wait until the next book.

almost nothing happened

was this supposed to be a training montage. the story was what happened TO him and the story of what he discovered and did about things Ended when he was captured, near the beginning.

another great book by rinoz

if you enjoyed book one, you'll continue to enjoy this series. the side characters, when shown are also a delight and seeing everyone grow together is awesome.
Jeff hays and Annie elcott are also phenomenal, like always.

(not a bot) a great sequel with plenty of progress

what's to say that wasn't in the title. the rest of the words are just to fill the minimum.

Another Great Addition

I love this series. I maybe a little bias since my name is Anthony. LoL.

RinoZ, keep the hits coming. I’m a big fan of all your work and can’t wait for next one.

The performance was excellent across the board. Well done.

the story of the ant continues

I'm glad there was enough content in this book. the sound booth theater team did a great job. I do hope for more development for the colony as a whole, interactions with other races, maybe some side plot line surrounding the queen ant and the priest. they were so integral in the first few books.

My favorite ANTony story so far

The action and story really increase in this book as Antony delves deep into the dungeon. I love the new new characters and of course the voice acting is amazing.

My life for the colony!!!

I've listened to a lot of books and this is easily in my top 3. The first 2 books I couldn't put them down. Books 3 and 4 did a great job fleshing out the world and showing the complexity of unintentional cause and effect. If you're a fan of games like Rimworld and enjoy hero stories this series is well worth the time, Also great job by the voice actors. Gah! the itchy!

Interm Arc. Exposition Galore. Buy it Anyway.

Need to disclose my bias in this matter. I greatly dislike protagonist kidnapping arcs, I believe they are a waste of time, as they really only have one outcome and its normally unsatisfying. As well they are used as a tool to force the protagonist into something they wouldn't normally do otherwise.

The best points in this novel is the narration, its just as good as always, and the way the protagonist acts in the face of adversity.

Since the ending of this arc is essentially written in stone, getting through all of the build up and forced competition is nothing but a drag and I couldn't wait for it to be over.

The kingdom building part of the story in the past couple books was amazing I was hoping it would follow that route but the protagonist just runs off on there own again immediately, although they had to in order for the rest of the arc to be more believable.

The hardest part to deal with in the book was the ending, it left me unsatisfied, but also interested in the future of the story.

Overall this book was necessary in order to give the information the reader is going to need going forward, as the story heats up the constant battles become more and more tedious since they feel superfluous. Looking at it in a brighter light, the story is interesting enough that you just want more.

You should definitely give this book a go, since this is still basically the beginning of a massive story and in the end this lackluster part will be nothing but a blip.
