He will need every ounce of cunning and strength he can scrounge up, though, because the forces of the Void will not tolerate this gathering of Chosen Ones, and will slay them if at all possible. were these stories always so monotonous?
there were so many times during this book that the author seemed to be rushing the story along to get things over with. I enjoyed the first book because of it's interesting ideas and creative character development. but at this point, jelly and Friends don't seem to be doing or learning much of anything. in fact this entire trip through the ether seems more of a way to keep them out of the fight than teach them how to fight. and how many "oh didn't I tell you about that?", moments do there need to be in one book?
