Great story and narration

This author and narrator are new to me, and I am glad I found them. I'm no good at writing reviews so I'll just say I'm already into the next book and loving it.

WOW - Absolutely Believable and Excellent Character Development

I have been obsessed with post apocalyptic novels for months. This one, definitely made the top three. I hope the next book is just as interesting and exciting as this one because I’m hooked. I’m purchasing the next book now!

I wasn't expecting much from this book,but when I started it I couldn't stop it. tom Clancy couldn't have done better himself.

It’s cold in Michigan

The storytelling of this tale is captivating. You can step inside the characters mind and feel their pain and emotion. The narration enhances the words of Kyla’s characters. At times I have to stop to hold back the anger or sorrow that is portrayed in the story. I wish I could write as eloquently as Kyla does. I am ready for the next book number five and the books afterwards.

Fantastic and heart tugging intro

I suppose a lot of people start with book 1 in a series rather that 0.5 but I started with this one. It's a fantastic intro to a series I now look forward to reading. This prequel tugs at your heart and get's you emotionally invested in the character of Liam, who will be in book 1 according to the description, so I'm keen to see what happens with him in the first full instalment. The narrator is easy to listen to and doesn't jar you from the story itself, she's pleasant to hear and the story flows really well. I'm really happy with this listen.
