whoa!

this whole series is amazing. I bought 1 book and bought the rest shortly after. i cannot wait till the next book. Only knock i had.. was very small... very..... very....small. a glock 19 holds 15+1... HOWEVER... IT CAN TAKE G17 MAGS.. which hold 17+1. Spec op guys would want a flush fitting mag on their service pistol and maybe carry a 17 mag as back up. lol but the story and narrator are an awesome combination.. book was amazing 👏

Just When You Thought the End was Near

I was given this free review copy audio-book at my request and have voluntarily left this review. This review is for the audio copy of Edge of Defiance: A Post-Apocalyptic EMP Survival Thriller-Edge of Collapse, Book 5 by Kyla Stone and narrated by Stacey Glemboski. So, as we have worked through the local issues with the current batch of very bad people…, and resolved the current crises, and thought the story was coming to an end. Voila: enter the anarchists and the story continues! Very good story line with consistent character development and follow through. Stacey is the voice of this series. Her narration is flawless!

I completely enjoyed this book & the whole series! The narrator is wonderful, one of my favorites! The story line is completely believable. The characters draw you to their lives. I highly recommend this book!

What's in Our Future?

The entire series provides a realistic view of what could be waiting for all of us at some ppint in the future. Let's hope not.

How the characters keep evolving on each book!

The people in the book just come alive and you feel all they are going through. I have found my self making sure we have an extra supply of food and and water to last 3 months at least!!

This series just keeps popping out amazing books.

The characters are so well developed and the way they progress as their limits are tested - just fascinating. There is a lot happening in this book, there is no time for rest at the end of the world and you will find yourself unable to put this book down.
The realistic characters with all their strengths and flaws are really well depicted and even though you always wish for a happy ending, the shocking reality hits you in the face - this is what Kyla does best - shows you there are no fairytales. But what have we learnt from Hannah? - the important thing is to survive and enjoy the sweet moments.

Although I am not always interested in long series (over 5 books), I am really pleased this one will have at least another 2! There is still so much going on and so much to tell! Cannot wait!

And what can we say about Stacey Glemboski's narration? Stellar as always!

Another amazing book in an amazing series!

Love, love, love this book! This series is by far one of my favorite post-apocalyptic series. The characters and story line draw you in quickly and I can’t wait until the next book! Until then, I’ll be checking out Kyla’s other book series!

I am enjoying this series and can not wait to read and listen to the next book. Kyla Stone is an excellent writer and Stacey Glemboski is a great narrator for this series.
