Second Listen Cued Up!

I enjoyed this series so much. I wish there were 30 more books. The authentic characters with diverse representation warmed my heart and me feel seen and included. The redemption arcs and plot twists will have you on the edge of your seat (ears?). It's not often that I am yelling at my phone like I'm watching a horror movie. The mishaps, tragedies and victories were beautifully satisfying. The writing is descriptive in a way that enhances your imagination. I look forward to more from the author! Bravo....here I go to restart.

Somebody needed to kill the evil characters.

I almost thought the State hospital was going to freak me out. Absolutely a great EMP book, with multiple charecters.

The narration spoils the book

i can’t even judge the book. Perhaps later on I may try reading it. The narrator for Holly makes it impossible to continue. I rarely give up on a book, but “Holly” did it. I can’t continue and will try a refund. Not to forget the “tap tap tap”! Awful.

Very slow boring storyline

It was a very slow and boring storyline that did not progress fast enough to keep my interest.

Terrible story characters are unlikable

Waste of a credit. Characters are whiny and unlikable.. stuck it out to book 2 and couldn’t take it anymore. No story just how terrible their lives are and that has nothing to do with emp

Unrealistic

There was way too much unrealistic/impossible scenarios in this story. It is a work of fiction so some stretches of the what is possible are to be expected, but this story takes it to new levels. The other hurdle I couldn't get over was the (8) Narrators. While a couple of the Narrators were decent more were cringe worthy. It's difficult to follow a story with 8 different versions of any one characters voice and accent. My opinion is save your credit for something better. Im wishing I hadn't stuck it out to the end.
