I recommend taking the time to work the exercises as well, to put concepts to application right away.

Disappointing autobiography

I wonder how many times the author used "I", "me", and "myself"? It felt like a million. The narration sounded like a 4th grade teacher - talking to children in an overly animated tone. This book is an author telling her life story and stories about people she knows. It is not about facilitating change. I kept pushing through each chapter waiting for the stories to end, waiting for a change in tone, and finally gave up. Sometimes you have to make a decision to cut your losses in life, and I did it. I wasted money on the book and my time, listening to it. I don't care how it ends. I am done.
