Great Book, Mark Tufo does it again !

This was great book for the start to the end. I can not wait for next one to come out. If you like this book you would love other great books by Mark Tufo. Sean Runnette does great job narrating in all Mark's books and other works.

Back stories. I love back stories.

This is a great series to begin with. Book one begins the story of Winter and her colleagues and their life on an Earth that has been devastated. Why? We don't know. Book 2 gives us some of the back story. The who, the why, the how but there are many more questions to be answered. I am looking forward to Distance 3 with great anticipation. Mark Tufo is an excellent story teller. Sean Runette is the best narrator I have ever listened to. He brings Mark's books to life.

I LOVE YOU MARK TUFO!!!

I'll start by saying I've read everything Mark Tufo has written so far, my favorite has always been Dystance then Zombie Fallout.
I love Winter and Cedar, especially Cedar. I mean who wouldn't want to fight battles with a good book in one hand? I can't wait till my Granddaughter is old enough for these books, Strong, smart females and tons of action, yeah that's the story I want to read to her.
Sean Runnette, you can read a dictionary and make it sound wonderful.

Another surprise twist. Loved the book.

I love the book but I hate having to wait for the next chapter Mark you have to start writing faster 12 books a year. LOL

Mark Tufo never disappoints!

I anxiously awaited the release of this book and it did not disappoint. I was slightly disappointed to find that Julia Whelan was no longer narrating the Dystance stories, but Sean Runnette has a fantastic voice and did an amazing job as usual. This story is full of action and Mark Tufo continues to introduce endearing characters that are easy to like. This story takes some interesting turns and I cannot wait for Dystance 3. Hopefully, Mark Tufo will not keep us waiting too long!

Didn't like the final third (Spoilers)

Firstly I would like to point out that I'm a huge fan of Mark's previous work and I was thoroughly enjoying the book right up to the change in direction from a post apocalyptic medieval style story to a continuation of the Indian Hill series complete with space ships and aliens fighting each other (Strivers). The story and new characters introduced (Brutan death squad) up to this shift were brilliant, however this shift for me was a huge let down. I will continue to listen to this series but I won't be eagerly anticipating them as I have done for all his previous releases.

nicely developed

having listened to the first by a different narrator my ear took a wgile to tune in however once it did i was blown away.

the development of the main characters and new people in the mix made for a new mixing pot in the tufoverse with history creating plot devices for a whole lot of exciting things to come.

A brilliant new direction

I am a huge fan of Mark Tufo I thoroughly enjoyed the first Dystance book and have patiently waited for the sequel. Was Cedar's conflict worth the wait? Absolutely! This second book completely blew my expectations. Tufo has taken it in a direction I hadn't even considered and I can't recommend it highly enough, particularly for fans of Tufo's other series.

As ever, Sean Runnette does a fantastic job of narrating the story.
