Re listen as great as the first!

Just finished re listening to Cassie again (ok it's been several re listens lol) and I still want more. The whole AUD series and novellas are amazing! They are the stories you want to go on forever. Well fleshed out characters that take you along an emotional rollercoaster with brilliant detail without being overdone.

And James Foster, as both narrator and producer, you are stupendous!! Chris and James are definitely a match made in heaven.

Now for the reason that I'm here, Cassie. This book is definitely very heart-wrenching. At times I found myself holding my breath waiting to see what would happen next and I also found myself feeling quite tense during more frightening segments. What more can you ask from a great book?!

If you have not read the AUD series please run and start your adventures now! You will not go wrong and you will find yourself as addicted as all the others that have immersed themselves in these books.

Amazing end

I love this series and this was a great ending but was it really finished? The best part is the series is only ramping up to a even bigger surprise that you will never see coming!

An Odd Book

Great zombie storytelling, which is why I listened, punctuayed by Drama Queen hero, and a weird idea that God expects humanity to redeem itself thru an absurd test. It's an old lie pushed by various religeons throughout the ages. If we could redeem ourselves then i guess we wouldn't need a Redeemer, and we could be our own gods righrt?

Great Series Sad its Over.

What made the experience of listening to Cassie the most enjoyable?

It tied up the series with non stop action comedy and character depth.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Adrian of course, he's a smart ass with a good heart, its easy to root for him.

What about James Foster’s performance did you like?

He really brought Adrian to life, makes you believe he is Adrian, he has a great speaking voice unlike some narrators he brought life into the charecters.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I enjoyed the whole series and couldn't wait for the next book but its still a zombie book so not really moving.

Any additional comments?

Start with book one and listen to them all I was hooked from the get go and it had a conclusion I hate when a series has only 2 of the 5 books you get hooked and then your forced to actually read a book if you want to see how it ends. I will probably listen to it again in several months.

Addictive

By far the the best series on this genre. I usually like box sets because they tell most of to he story and at the end of 3-4 books I’m usually a little tired of the storyline or narrator. Not the case with this collection.

Storyline is cross between Stephen King’s ‘The Stand’, Zombieland and the walking dead. Definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat and waiting to see what will happen to our hero and his friends

Off to get book nine because I’m hooked

I thought the series was good, but not great.

Narrator was alright, I would say slightly above average. The story gets kind off crazy in parts, definitely has some aspects I was not expecting. I would say worth listening to if you get a 2-for-1 discount on the entire series.

SIMPLY FAN-DAM-TASTIC!!!!!!!!

Any additional comments?

This entire series. These 8 deliciously wonderful and undeniably brilliant undead diary books were/are/forever shall be, the absolute best series I have ever laid ears on. I apologize for the bad pun but, I'm visually impaired and I just couldn't resist. Anywho, if you have read the entire series that's great but, these books scream out to be listen too. Why is that you say? Well, (heavy sigh) Chris Philbrook and by extension the narrator James (what a performance) Foster fit together like a hand and glove. The character development is serious, seamless and deep. On occasion I cried a wee tear or twelve, laughed harder than I thought possible, and I even puzzled (sometimes out loud) with various characters when the tough or delicate questions were asked. The story development did not falter from one book to the next. I love these books and will always have them primed and ready to listen to them again and again. So a big shout out to Chris Philbrook for writing and developing this most awesome series. And another goes out to James Foster for bringing these most awesome books to life. So Audible members give these books a listen. You will never be disappointed.
