Great book

I got this book because I wanted to understand body weight exercises at a deeper level and be able to integrate them into my workout routine. This book gave me the tools to do that. If you are obsessively methodical like I am, this is a good book.

as well book

There's focus on form, balancing deficiencies for push/pull, routines, prehabilitation, diet, lifestyle and rehabilitation from injury. There's so much packed into the book, which is why it's so thick.

Helpful guide

Firstly, this is a ton of knowledge. It covers plan design, addressing flaws/imbalances in existing fitness, general physiology and gymnastics moves and progressions. For me, the best part about this is the detailed information on every single move and the steps to progress to the next and more challenging move.

Loved it

The best part is that not only does the book expertly cover topics of gymnastic progression, but also programming workouts to reach a progression goal, injury awareness/avoidance/rehabilitation, and so much more. The author is the real deal. This is a guy who did gymnastics a college level and went on to get his PhD in Physical Therapy. He clearly has a deep passion and understanding for the topics covered and I'm really impressed with what he put together.

proffesonial book

Things I like about the book is that it covers every aspect for training to get from an untrained beginner to a professional athlete. The progressions go from beginner exercises like eccentrics to advanced like iron cross
