Heartbreaking Second Chance Love Story!

Callie Hart did an amazing job pulling the listener into an emotional heart wrenching story about two young souls finding love, only to be separated, but fate had a way of bringing them back together. Coralie may have suffered in silence at the hands of her father, but meeting, and falling in love with Callen was how she dealt with his cruelty. Told from dual POV's with past and present scenes, the listener follows the characters as they return back to their hometown to face the demons of their past, reunite, heal, and move forward.

Ramona did a good job on the narration. While it was difficult to distinguish between the characters sometimes, I definitely felt all the raw emotions throughout the whole story.

Calico was an emotional story, with great characters, I especially liked some of the secondary characters. An excellent find!

CALICO was a breathtakingly beautiful tale of EPIC soul deep first love, sacrifices and second chances! I loved this intensely emotional story of two broken soul mates finding each other again. The circumstances that tore them apart 12 years ago broke my heart into a million pieces. Callan and Coralie were soul mates right from the start; a once in a lifetime love; a love so true that sacrifices for the other was second nature. Callie Hart's narrative was beautiful, with seamless flashbacks as the past is revealed! This is a book not to be missed!!

Ramona Master delivers a stunning performance in CALICO! She shows so much emotion especially in the heartbreaking scenes! Although this story is told from alternating POVs, Ms. Master steals the show as both Callan and Coralie!

Amazing, Powerful, Epic Love Story

Calico is one of the most amazingly emotional and powerful love stories I've read in recent history. The tightly woven plot kept me on the edge of my seat. Perfection.

This was just enthralling. Whether or not Coralie made the right decision(s), she showed remarkable strength and courage to stand for what she felt was best. Callan had less need for courage but his soul was strongest in the belief of love and commitment, no matter what. When it's meant to be, take that second chance.

Book is great but wraps up way to fast!

This is a compelling and intriguing listen, the story is compelling, dialogue is interesting and the characters are well developed. My only complaint is it wrapped up very suddenly, to others it may not feel that way but for my personal taste I would have liked more. I don't like it when a book that I've invested hours into listening just wraps up suddenly without knowing much more about the characters.

The narrator did a average job, every now and then she would slip into a Southern accent which isn't much of an issue. I did not like how she preformed the voice of Friday, it was way drawn out and almost had a sexual melody to it as well. Other than that she did a great job.
