More characters to love!!

Shannon has done it again! She’s made me fall in love with another FMC!!

From the first trilogy in this universe, I wasn’t sure how Diana would turn out since she was the stoic and fierce Queen the entire trilogy. But, she’s turned out to be just as awesome as Sienna! I’m amazed t​o learn about her protective side and her emotional side in addition to the way she portrays herself as the Queen of the Werewolf Territory. As the first Queen ever, the stakes are higher than ever. She cannot fail, she cannot be seen as a weak leader and she cannot let any man boss her. I love her!

It was fun to see Raven out of his element and at the mercy of someone who doesn’t back down!🤣 Their banter had me giggling the entire time. The parallels with Dominic were just so good that I easily fell in love with their dynamic. Add in Nicholas and the Oracle, it made for a team created for entertainment out on a dangerous mission.

With powerful enemies, they need similarly powerful and resourceful allies. The adventure introduces more intriguing characters and someone I didn’t expect! That goes to show, this series is not done stunning me yet!!!

Special mention to Myrr for being the absolute best she can be and making this journey so much more enjoyable!!!! I need more of her!!

I’m so excited to see what the sequel is going to give us!!!

I've been feral for Raven and Diana's story since finishing Dominic and Sienna's trilogy. Caged by Fate more than delivered, pulling me in from the start and not letting go.

After her father's death, Diana was crowned as the first-ever werewolf queen. To earn and keep her people's respect, she must stand strong, prove herself a leader, and find an important stone stolen from them by the only person she ever trusted with her heart.

Since experiencing not only her own heartbreak but also seeing how others deeply grieve the loss of a mate, Diana keeps people at a distance. Despite her best efforts, she finds herself drawn to Raven, the cocky vampire tasked by her brothers to help and protect her during her journey to hunt down the man who broke her heart and recover what he stole. Although Raven infuriates her, she experiences an undeniable pull tugging her to him.

Raven's known as an irreparable rogue with a naughty mouth, in more ways than one, which constantly gets him into trouble with Diana. Hidden in his past is a dangerous secret, one he's kept buried in his subconscious, not even allowing himself to fully remember or acknowledge the details until he's hit with a truth he can't deny.

I love, love, love the banter between Diana and Raven! Their contrasting personalities work so well together, and I need more of their push-pull dynamic.

Myrr, the Oracle, shines in this book. She's always good for a laugh, and you know that there's more to her than meets the eye. I'm intrigued by Nicholas, and I'm excited to see what he adds to the storyline. Oh, and just wait until you meet Kevin!

Even though this book gave me some answers, it left me with many unanswered questions. Next up, Hidden by Fate, where the journey continues, and hopefully, more answers are discovered!

Shannon's audiobooks always have the best narrators, and the same goes for this one! Tillie Hooper and Will Peters brought this story to life, perfectly capturing the characters!

Back in the territories

We return to the world of vampires and werewolves. Diana is trying to save the veil and starts on a journey to the human world. She needs quest buddies and one of them is Raven, who continues to rub Diana the wrong way. Which is totally part of his charm and so entertaining. The usual fast paced adventure and the sprinkles of spice kept me entertained and engaged throughout the story. Narration is great and the switching POVs make it easy to follow along. I’m ready for the next dose of Diana and Raven!
