Publisher's summary

No! These are all just excuses for the real reason people don't start a business and stick with it - fear. It's the kind of fear that makes you keep your mouth closed when instead you wish you would speak up. The fear that stops you from moving forward in life.

There's only one thing that will conquer your fear - it's commitment. When you get committed, nothing will stop you!

Why The Old Rules Of Retirement Are Broken And The New Rules That Will Save You From Financial Ruin

In today's new economy the old methods of getting an education, getting a good job and going to work just don't cut it anymore. Hundreds of millions of people who followed that plan are now facing bankruptcy, poverty and the inability to retire.

Over 95% of Americans are unable to support themselves when they retire! They're reliant on Social Security, family and charity donations. Do you want that to be you? Of course not!

In this life-changing book, young entrepreneur Tom Corson-Knowles shares his secrets to lasting business and financial success passed down to him by hundreds of millionaire mentors.

Very good advise to get started

Although it's not very detailed, it does summarize the simple truths in what you should do and what you shouldn't do to be successful. I found it more motivating than informational, but it does give good advise and good places to start as well as plenty of examples of folks who went from rags to riches by just taking action. I recommend this for young folks just getting started on the road to success but it can apply to any age.

Don't Waste your time

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

If you need a motivational speech than this book is for you.

Has Rules of the Rich turned you off from other books in this genre?

No new material presented.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

I had to put the speed on 3x and it still was a slow listen.

Any additional comments?

Don't live beyond your means. Work hard, save money and you will be rich. That was the only points made in this book the rest was just fillers.

Every other book of this genre was better the this one.
My favorite is still "Rich Dad poor Dad"

The content sounds like something copied from other books.

So vas is upaetting

Better to read Mini Habits by Stephen Guise or 6 months to 6 figures by Peter Voogd.
One strategy is to eat healthy, another is to be aware of investing oportunities, and the rest are painfully obvious too. He just mentions the strategy and moves on. No how I did it or further explanations.
He writes about the parable of talents, with Jesus as the owner of the slaves! Fact checking is not a priority.
Kept listening thinking the good parts were next, they never arrived.
