Mackenzie Grey has had it rough these past couple of months. She's lost her job, her relationship with Sebastian is teetering on the edge, and she's hiding from a particular warlock that's ready to call in his favor.

When Bobby Wu catches up with Kenzie, it's not what she expects. He said he would own her, and he meant it quite literally. Bound to the warlock, it's a race against the clock to untie herself from Bobby before she does something she'll live to regret.

Will Mackenzie find a way out, or will her world come crashing down around her?

Contains mature themes.

Staring Mckenzie in the face

Great book because I love this series and love reading about the battles she has to go through to grow up and find her place in life. One thing that really bothered me about this book is the obviousness of it. I mean as a reader we can all see that Bobby Wu (even though he is a jerk and a bad guy) is protecting Mckenzie from someone/or something. So we're expected to think that Mckenzie can't see that? She can't be that dumb!
Also are we all supposed to forget that there was a powerful warlock working with the vampires for the "cure" in the last book. 🤔 And this Waldo comes out of nowhere but every one trusts them with their lives. I definitely can't wait to see how it all plays out in the end. And now we have to add her brother to the fray😉. Happy Reading

so far the series is great.

seems weighed more for the evil than the good. I appreciate it being in NY. enough with the will you won't you of sabastian and Mckenzie. plus really want more on her mom.

I love their book series!!!!

I love this book series. I was excited to see that there was a second part to it. So far I have not been disappointed. I love how they keep you engrossed in the books. I also love the person they have reading the story. They do an amazing job of putting emotion behind the characters.

this is a novelette

Mackenzie gray origins was great I loved every book in the box set . Mackenzie Ray trials the whole series is a novelette and I would rather have paid credit for credit for origin and trials be a box . not worth paying credits for each book
