Felt like it ended too quickly

A nice little romantasy spin with academia which is nice from Ali. I do enjoy that genre for her. But I thought there would be a 2nd book. How it ended quickly and anticlimactic, in my opinion, made it not as enjoyable.

Another great Ali Hazelwood Book

Unique characters in this fun, modern-feeling romantacy. I love how she keeps you guessing for a good portion of the book before you fully understand what’s going on. The spice and satisfying end are true to Hazelwood’s style.

I love this book!!! This is Enemies to lovers romance. The humor is amazing!! The banter is great!!! The only thing I hate about this Book is there not another one!!! I NEED MORE!!! I’m going to pretend this is a better prequel of twilight! And breaking dawn is Vero and Victor story! They get married, have an immortal baby girl, she dies in childbirth and he can’t live without her changes to an immortal, skip the crappy stuff! they go to there cottage in the woods with her daughter (we are going to pretend she is con baby from raya. Cause her parents are the world best con artist hello??) and live happily after!! The end! OKAY!! now I’m happy with the ending!! 🤗
Now if Ali ever reads this!! You are goddess!! I love you!!!! Now write sequel please!! 🥺 fine! Fine! Dont write a sequel just for me!! Just name my FAKE baby for Vero and Victor!
