I would love more of this for other holidays! The stories are short but fun. I liked some more than others but all fit the Halloween vibe!

Fun novellas with excellent authors & cast

Spooky & sexy novellas, each are unique and fun to listen to. The duet narration is great.

Fabulous

This was a super cute collection of little stories. I was highly interested in almost all of them and I love that I could stop after a story and go listen to something else and come back to a whole new story. Their shortness was super helpful and I didn’t feel like they totally left me hanging.

I don’t understand what this man is… he’s not a vampire that feeds on blood. He fed on her energy during sex. Why is he cursed and what exactly is the curse? Cursed to walk the earth alone and immortal until his beloved rescues him. He slaughtered a corrupt king’s family and the king’s sorcerer cursed him. He is a “Fallen” like as in angel? She must be his dead wife re-incarnated that found him again as was foretold in the curse. Or maybe not? I’m so confused.

Reading other books from the Rubyverse prior made this all the better because we already know the world (errr space) this is set in.

She’s on a hike and hike with her boyfriend and his female best friend and they abandon her on the trail because she couldn’t keep up. An ancient being/god of the forest witnessed it. He created an entire hive mind town for her because she made a wish in his fountain for a hallmark movie type romance. She took advantage of him being able to take on any form AND multiple at the same time. I would have loved for more information on him and his origins. He was a little confusing.

I thought I was super weird that she touched him TWICE (essentially a stranger she wanted to interview for an article) without his consent the first two times they met. He’s a tattoo artist with a family curse that trapped souls in his tattoos and any woman unfortunate enough to love him was doomed for death. Petra was unknowingly descended from a witch and was the only one that could break the curse.
