Publisher's summary

Ian enjoys the spotlight, the band, the fans—everything he’s worked hard to get. But very few people know the man under the fierce makeup and loud clothes.

Bodhi is excited for a fresh start in a new town where no one knows his past. Thanks to his hyper but lovable dog, Ollie, Bo runs into the hot and mysterious guy next door. His attraction to Ian is immediate, but trust is a lot harder for Bo.

Ian wants more than the casual hookups he’s been enjoying. Bo next door, with his crazy dog, makes him think it could be possible. Fame and notoriety bring challenges though, will it prove too much for Bodhi to handle?

Bo Next Door is an endearing story of love, trust, and finding someone who loves all of you. Sometimes the one you were hoping for is right next door.

The Love Bank Romance series features sweet LGBTQ love stories with a little heat.

Rockstar meets Animal Care Technician

This is mostly an opposites attract story. Ian and Bo seem like two very different people but they still fit perfectly together.
Bo I a trans man, but that’s not the main point of the story. It’s merely one facet of who he is and I love how it wasn’t something that made Ian stop and think beyond “Hmm I’ll let him guide me in how to please him.”

The biggest conflict of the story revolves around how Bo feels about Ian being on his way to fame and where Bo can see himself fitting in to the picture.
Another thing I loved about this was, that both Ian and Bo came from a very loving and supportive background. That made me very happy.

Listen to this if you like stories about trans people but want it to be about something other than their transition.

story left me smiling!!

This story left me smiling for days!! Bo Next Door is book two in the Love Bank Romance series. We first met Ian in All the Stars. Bodhi and Ian were sweet together, although I felt they had a bumpy start. The story was sooo freakin good, kept me engaged, I couldn't stop listening to it! Cole Michael Kurcz and Kevin Earlywine did an incredible narrative, so in sync with each other! Overall, fantastic! The story was really well written, the pacing was perfect, highly recommend.

So good!

I loved this book when I read it. and it was just as amazing in audio! Cole and Kevin captured Bodhi and Crow perfectly. I loved these two together; they’re incredibly sweet. They do go through some heartache to reach their HEA, but it’s so worth it. A diverse and inclusive story of two men falling deeply in love. Fantastic!

🥰🔥

I loved Bo and Ian's story. I always enjoy a neighbor's to lovers story. I especially loved that their relationship angst was about fitting into each other vastly different worlds and Bo's gender identity. Highly recommended.

Love Love Love Bo Next Door!

These two narrators are fast becoming my look for narrators. I really like the way they speak when they’re just reading what Bodhi or Ian are thinking in their heads versus saying aloud and changing their intonations for each character. Their versatility is amazing. There were times in the book where I couldn’t tell Kurcz from Earlywine and it would take me a minute to figure out who was narrating. I’m not sure when that started happening or if I just got so used to hearing them that I wasn’t noticing chapter changes. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The story of Ian and Bo kept me captivated, because it’s a story that had so many facets to it. Ian, a singer working to be famous and yet also keep his privacy. Bo, leaning into his new life by moving away from home where everyone knew him by his old name. A story of fresh starts for Bo and his sister Lane even while it’s something different for Ian. And yet…Bo and Ian were meant for each other. Bo was who Ian was looking for and Ian could give Bo that care and comfort that he wanted as well. Ian, who’d never really looked beyond the music, could now see a path forward with Bo. Would Bo be able to get past his own personal demons in order to stay with Ian?

As always with a Duckie Mack book, I am energized by the storyline. I listened and listened and never wanted to stop. I wish some of my other audiobooks were this easy to listen to. I’m in total love with the Love Bank series and I truly want to hear more of Bo and Ian. Will Ollie ever learn how to use that doggie door? I wonder 💭.

Adorable!

This was my first book by Duckie Mack and it was so sweet! Bo Next Door was a lighter read with a little bit of angst that was resolved fairly quickly, which I always appreciate. There was humor and also some good life lessons. I love that both Ian and Bo had parts of themselves that they let others see, and parts they only let each other see. Of course, rambunctious Ollie nearly stole the show, and played a hand in getting them together. The way friends and fans alike came together to help the animals was one of my favorite parts. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.
