I found the development of characters so compelling! Excellent story, and very well written. I look forward to the next book in this thoughtful, exciting and engaging series.

A good timeline is hard to find

The main character continues to learn from the past, and the end of this story feels nicely tied up. There is more following this story, though this one feels like a completion of the previous storyline. I appreciate that, as it doesnt feel like a cliff hanger while leaving plenty of story options open.

so far that series has been fantastic. the writing, narration and voice acting have been superb (Neil Hellegers). I'm definitely getting the next book.

Good but wrong

This is my edited review. I did enjoy these two books. While I know there is a third, I kinda wish things were more completed in this book. What I mean is this book could be finale of the series and it work. A little disappointing if it was, but it would work. There isn't much of a cliff hanger other than some potential plot points.

If I were to be more honest, I feel like book one and two could have been combined to make one book since it's basically one arc.

I still feel like the Joe situation is kinda left unsatisfied. I don't mind a love interest not working out, but it's clear that Joe didn't even try the first time around. The second go around between the two shown the potential for it to work. It's clear they would work out if Joe compromised like she does for her sister.

Overall, good series so far and I hope it continues.

I love this series and I can't wait for book 3 to hit, I'm finally glad towards the end of the book both micha and his brother grow up a good bit

Fresh breath with great Voice

Excited to listen to the second book in Series as first was extremely entertaining. Recommend!

pretty good

I liked this book, I believed that there was alot of useless dialog, but the fighting is good and the depth Ness the author trys to give Micah is good too.
