Publisher's Summary

Military hero and beloved Dancing with the Stars alum Noah Galloway shares his life story and how losing his arm and leg in combat forced him to relearn how to live - and live to the fullest.

Inspirational, humorous, and thought provoking, Noah Galloway's Living with No Excuses sheds light on his upbringing in rural Alabama, his military experience, and the battle he faced to overcome losing two limbs during Operation Iraqi Freedom. From reliving the early days of life to his acceptance of his "new normal" after losing his arm and leg in combat, Noah reveals his ambition to succeed against all odds.

Noah's gripping story is a shining example that with laughter and the right amount of perspective, you can tackle anything. Whether it's overcoming injury, conquering the Dancing with the Stars ballroom, or taking the next steps forward in life with his young family, Noah demonstrates how to live life to the fullest, with no excuses.

Not what you expect but far better

Noah Galloway essentially has delivered a book that says " If your gonna like me like me for who I really am and not who you may think I am". This book is so interesting not because it's about his overcoming physical challenges but his honesty about his struggles as a man, husband, father and with his own personality. In the end its not so much about overcoming as coming to grips.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

some of it

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

the most interesting was the way he comforted the new states of he's disability
the least interesting was he's combat stories

What does Noah Galloway bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

that no matter what happens to the physical the straight of the spirit becomes more valuable

Could you see Living with No Excuses being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

could happen

Good Story Teller

I like Noah's voice so I enjoyed listening to the story. I'm not sure I'd particularly like him as a person though. I think he does good things more for recognition than from his heart. Also, I think his ego is out of control and he's careless with the hearts of others.

What an adventure!!

Noah's story is fantastic! I couldn't stop listening. I hate that he had to endure so many bad things.....but he has made all of those negative things into great experiences! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to what he has going on with his next adventure! Thank you Noah for your service and you are paying it forward in every sense of the term!!

Real, practical inspiration!

Really enjoyed this story. It's real life, no holding back here. Painful injuries and mistakes do not define you and that's Noah's message. What defines you is moving forward and attacking life all the while being thankful for all you have. That's what I got from Noah's message. Highly recommend this audiobook!
