Explore the fascinating life of John F. Kennedy

Gallup's List of Widely Admired People of the 20th Century places President John F. Kennedy in the third slot, behind Martin Luther King, Jr., and Mother Teresa. Needless to say, President Kennedy's name is one that will not soon be forgotten.

They may recall he was the youngest president to have been sworn into the presidential office or he dealt with issues such as the Cuban Missile Crisis.

The general American public and the world know much about the surface of JFK's life - they know of his affairs and his ill health - but they often do not recall anything about who he was as a person or how he interacted with his wife and family. This audiobook aims to unveil all this information along with many more captivating facts about the life of John F. Kennedy.

Good guide

Interesting historical events difficult to understand. While recognizing President Kennedy's notable achievements at home and abroad, The writer would finish with a jab in the back clearly inspired by his description of honesty.

Good insight here!!!

He seemed like a pretty cool guy, really hate being so scrutinized in the public eye and just wanted their private life to be private. The book was supportive and equal on this topic. Good insight here.

I got so much

There is a great book for scholars or historians who are already well-versed in the defects of the Camelot legend. But overall listeners interested in broad coverage of JFK’s life are likely to find the book’s tone too imbalanced, too petty and lacking in scholastic gravitas.I got so much.

Highly recommended.

The book has rich detail about the president's persistent. I found this book so enjoyable as far as seeing the "real" JFK the best-written book, you did feel like you get to know him aside from the face he had to put on at times in front of America.

Any additional comments?

The book inwards in a judicious amount of time and outstanding audible condition. The book is certainly an American History Book - listens like a text book essentially. Kind of boring to be honest - unless you are passionate about American History.

Classic Book on John F. Kennedy.

This book, in difference, tells the stories of factual statesman who endangered (and sometimes lost) their careers in going against the public in supporting what they thought to be right.

The Life of an American Giant...

Any additional comments?

For years I've considered JFK to be an average president. This book challenged that assessment. It is perfect for Kennedy admirers. "An Unfinished Life" leaves no aspect of Kennedy's life unexplored.

What a life, short one but inspiring one.

Any additional comments?

I was not conscious of the detailed history of the name and his family and particularly the robust stimulus of his father Joe. The writer had access very deep which was very interesting and maybe this is why it was much more comprehensive than anything else I ever read.

It seems a fair look into JFK from the author.

Any additional comments?

The author does well to offer an impartial look at the traditional climate in the US at the time of his Presidency. One comes missing with a stronger sympathetic of all the challenging offshoots at play including JFK's own shortcomings.

A Great Book on Kennedy's Life

Any additional comments?

I well-regarded President Kennedy for what he did as President in such a short term. This book provides all the contextual of his life from growing up in a tight-knit Catholic family where father, Joe, was, on the superficial a faithful political figure, but surreptitiously, a philanderer who demolished his relationship with his authentic wife, Rose, to the very end in that infamous day in Dallas.
