Good content but

I wish that Steven Curtis Chapman had read the book. It seems that autobiographies better when the author reads them.

Long time fan

I enjoyed the story. My only problem was the narrator. It could have been so much better if SCC did the reading. I had to speed up the narrator to get through it.

Open and honest

Loved this book. Very open, honest and relatable. Grief can be overwhelming at times but with God's help we can carry on.

Truly a "great adventure" to read/listen to

Would you consider the audio edition of Between Heaven & the Real World to be better than the print version?

As a person with a visual impairment and ADHD audio books have rekindled my love of reading. I loved reading the book, but could also catch things I missed by listening. And the book has pictures :)

What was one of the most memorable moments of Between Heaven & the Real World?

That's a hard one, but I'd have to say the way Steven spoke of Maria's death and all that happened afterwards. The way that God placed people and things in their lives at just the right time, and the way that God used Maria's story in so many lives was so powerful.

Which scene was your favorite?

I think Steven's sharing how he wrote "Cinderella"

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

"SEE"

Any additional comments?

This book brought back so many memories, Steven's music is such a part of my spiritual journey, including praying for him and his family after Maria died. The only thing missing was hearing him narrate the book himself, but Paul Michael did a great job.

Amazing story

Steven was refreshingly honest, down to Earth, and real in his story--I laughed, marvelled, cried, and rejoiced. What an amazing testimony of strength in the Lord--leaning on Him in all things, looking to Him for all things, and knowing, not just saying that you know, but really knowing that this hope we have is true--He will wipe all our tears away. We will all rejoice in that great homecoming, glory to God. God bless the Chapmans.

love steven, but he needs to stick to song writing

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I did not like the narrator of this book, I had to speed up his voice and the book was kind of boring. Rory Feeks book was much better.

What could Steven Curtis Chapman and Ken Abraham have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

too many dates and facts about things. I wanted to know more about how he was feeling emotionally and listening to how God helped him thru everything.

What didn’t you like about Paul Michael’s performance?

too slow and not enough variation in his voice. kind of boring.

Did Between Heaven & the Real World inspire you to do anything?

no

Personal and Heartwarming<br />

The transparency of Steven tugged at my heartstrings. The compassion he and his wife had for the orphans was admirable, but real. The pain and grief through the family tragedy had to be so hard to share. This story captured me through the last page! Well done and praise to our Lord!

Honest and Inspiring

Any additional comments?

A very open, honest and gut wrenching read. Good narration. Raised the question for me: Does God take away things from us? One we will only fully know the answer when we meet Him face to face.
