Learn how to work your way through life’s unexpected challenges with grace and find a deeper faith while on your journey. In this biblical and conversational book by Dr. Tony Evans and his four adult children — Chrystal Evans Hurst, Priscilla Shirer, Anthony Evans, and Jonathan Evans — you will hear five insightful perspectives on what it means to hold on to faith when life breaks your heart.

We have all been through difficult seasons and times in life when it seems like the hits keep coming and you can barely catch your breath. The Evans family knows what this is like, as they’ve experienced the deep grief of losing eight loved ones in less than two years’ time, including the devastating passing of Lois Evans, the matriarch of the family.

In Divine Disruption, Dr. Tony Evans and his children pull back the curtain on their faith-shaking experiences, in order to provide biblical wisdom and practical encouragement for how to deal with the hard, unexpected things we all inevitably face.

You’ll walk away with insights on:

  • Why bad things happen despite a good and powerful God
  • Persevering in difficult times and experiencing God’s peace
  • What causes distress in your life — and how to move past it
  • How to keep your faith from being damaged during tough times

Join the Evans Family in this unique Kingdom Legacy partnership as they candidly share honest questions they’ve asked, raw emotions they’ve felt, and solutions they’ve learned. Your life may have been interrupted, but you can use that to grow closer to God — and find peace.

Beautiful, Heartfelt, and Transparent

I preordered this audio version of “Divine Disruption” anticipating a great book, and I was not disappointed. I cried, smiled, and was encouraged by their transparency. Pastor Evans and his children are a remarkable family and their resilience and faith in God is what true followers of Jesus Christ are to look like.

This book helped me in some ways I did not foresee. God is good! And no matter what we go through we must never lose hind-site of this. Love the LORD and do good because He will never, never leave His children. For Christ is our blessed hope! Well done Evans, Hurst, and Shirer family! Sis Evans would be proud!

Father used this story to bring healing!

This book was right on time in my life. I lost my mother almost 8 months ago. Five days after l my mother went home to Glory, my pastor and spiritual father had a massive heart attack and went home to Glory. 4 months prior we buried my uncle, mom's little brother. Before this in 6 years our family lost the matriarch of our family along with 4 of my mom's siblings. Lots of loss. When I lost my mother my husband was in the same icu she had been in fighting got his life and I had to bury my queen without my king. I was angry, losing faith, just a wreck! It was so refreshing to hear everyone's perspective, especially Anthony's. I related to his story so much. God used The Evans, Shirer, and Hurst family's testimony to bring healing to my shattered heart! I bless God for you and you family!

Real People, Real Experiences

Having lost my husband in September 2021, I was given Thai book to help with my grief. I was very moved by the way the book was narrated and the honest truth that was shared by all the Evans family. I appreciated the verses shared and the inspiration they gave me. 💕

Awesome! Thank you!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed hearing it in the family’s individual voices. I lost my Mom in July 2021. She, like Dr. Lois Evans, was my rock. She was everyone’s rock. With my Dad passing away in 2002, I am officially an “orphaned adult.” Yet, the one and only true God we serve is so awesome! I’m in a new chapter of life , channeling the legacy baton my Mom passed on to me. I thank the Evans family for their transparency. They have experienced so many deaths in the family, yet have clung even closer to God. I felt as if while I listened to the book, I had a special village that understood my own spiritual journey.

Divine Disruption

Well I just finished listening to Divine Disruption. All I can say right now is Trust in the Lord, His plan is purposeful.
I'm sure I'll be listening to this book many more times to keep me in check😌. This is definitely a book that we all need to hear/read not only because of my heartache of losing my sister recently but to help us understand the reasons for it. 😪🥲❤

Living after the losses

I am so very thankful for the Evans family. How they found the strength in God and each other to continue living and trusting in God through it all. This book hit home as I too suffered tremendous loss. I am hopefully through their perseverance. Great inspirational book!!!

Absolutely Amazing!

The book was very relatable and relevant. Having experienced the loss of my dad at age 22, I could relate to some things that the authors talked about. People going through tragedy should listen to this and get some encouragement- God is still God and He is still good - even in tragedy. Five stars from me!
