I love every book in this Ashe Cayne series. Always intriguing. I feel like I’m involved in the investigation. I’m gonna need Dr Ian to drop a couple books at a time. I get so invested, it takes me a few days to get through one book.

Suspence and Intrigue

Once again, a fantastic Ashe novel. The narrator kept me engaged and I felt I was alongside Ashe solving the case. He has a great sense of humor. I really need to brush up on Shakespeare. Great read.

Law & Order Chicago style

I enjoy Ashe Cayne’s humility & ensure that he solves crime regardless of the criminal. I also appreciate how he brings back other characters from earlier books. Networking is a massive part of Ashe’s ability to solve his case. Chicago politics, Chicago police, and Chicago culture, there’s always a convoluted story! Most importantly, I really enjoy the author's descriptive view of Chicago, from the landmarks, Chicago-style foods, including the weather.
