A fantastic tale ringing with life truths

The story was so engaging I couldn’t turn it off! The voice acting and sound design is on point. Writing-wise, this has to be one of my favorite epic storylines Audible has produced to date. The characters were authentic, their individual journeys full of heart, humanity and horror. The underlying themes of evil vs good were well balanced with realistic human responses, successes and failures. I felt like I was really there with them. I also much appreciated the way diversity, ancestry and the emphasis on our ability to decide our own future as a whole human race were woven in. Thank you so much for producing this wonderful work.

A very engaging story and storyline.

I thought at the very beginning that this was like other period storylines. This had enough history mixed with a lot of present day happenings to keep me rewinding to make sure I did not miss a thing. When is the next installment?!?!!?!? :)

Incredible story!!

Engaging and edge-of-your-seat, with compelling characters and a fantastic storyline. I’m eagerly hoping for Season 2!

Just listen to the dammmm book, it’s gonna be the best 5 hours of your life.

Storyline

Liked the sounds voices & theatre feel. Definitely a must! Want to listen again or see movie production

Fantasy

The ending was a cliffhanger but I loved it so far and looking forward for more of the series to continue

I loved the different perspectives of the characters and how they thought liberation should be like.

I loved the way the characters were written, actually understanding their flaws and how they can hold you back from purpose. It was a very good read

Outstanding

Love the theatrical story mixed with some true history. If you like suspense and drama than you will enjoy this audio book.

Started off strong but…

It got a bit ‘meh’ towards the end. I really liked the build up, and the concept. But then it just took a turn. It felt too vague and not well thought out. I thought it was a shame. Because it had such potential. But it tries to be very clever and profound, but it missed the mark for me. It just got too weird

Great story and execution.

I liked all of it. Story was complex, but easy to understand. Can’t wait to see more from themselves.
