Awesome Read
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started listening to this book, it definitely draws you in and keeps you captivated all throughout the book. Tough to put reading. Great read and the prequel at the end of the book was a pleasant surprise and helped answer some questions I had and was thinking about.

Absolutely Worth It
Crime fiction novels quite saturate bookstores at the moment, and I know there are many books by outstanding authors in the genre vying for our attention. But Laws of Depravity is one of the best I’ve read this year and isn’t to be missed. The end left me eager for more Quincy and Phee and curious to see what they get up to next.

I needed this one!
I have been in search of a grippingly good book and this one was just what I needed! It was so well written that I had to post about it on Facebook!!! I started looking at the second book before getting through the first! Character development is back!! Thx Eriq La Salle! I loved you work on Chicago PD- this is a great next step!

A page turner!
I loved every part of this book. The story is amazing and kept me engaged from beginning to end. Eric LaSalle voice, which I love anyway, is perfect. I'm looking forward to Laws of Wrath and Laws of Annihilation.

Anxiously waiting
I cannot say enough about this series. Mr. LaSalle is a phenomenal author. He keeps you on the edge of your seat with every chapter. I finished this book in a week to close out the trilogy. I have no idea what is going to feel the void while I wait for the next book. I am hooked.

Sooooo good!
I never leave reviews but had to for this one. A pleasant surprise…a layered, exciting read with vivid, nuanced characters. Incredible plot, loved the build, great narration. I’m a mystery buff and can be critical with expectations but this was incredible and exceeded anything I could have anticipated from a “new” author. Ready for the next one!

Excellent story
I have been a fan on Eriq LaSalle for a long time. Was very excited to read his first novel. Great story. Loved the narration. The opening few lines drew me in hook, line and sinker. I love how he laced religion with evil and how he built the characters. Very well done, especially for a first novel!
