I always enjoy the whitty banter that comes from our female main character's mouth. I love the entire vampire family but that Henry was super funny 😄 Kylie your stories are always a delightful 5 🌟

Who knew Vampires were funny!

I’m not a ‘paranormal’ connoisseur typically, but Kylie has drawn me in! The humour and twists in this book were spot on! I enjoyed watching the staid Lucas get poked at by his ‘children’! For a typically dark topic, this book was light, humour filled with just the right ‘learning curve’ on vampires. I received this book free, but it had already been on my wish list!

Love the characters

Absolutely loved this story! I just wish it was longer. I hate to spend my credits for only a 6 hour book.

I hope this is a new series

I loved this book. To be fair I love most of her books. I’m hoping it becomes an actual series. She builds such intricate worlds that keep you invested start to finish and immediately have you yearning for book two, that some times never comes. Hopefully this is not that and we get to revisit this world in the near future.

Total enjoyment

Kylie Scott always manages to put her special spin on whatever project she pens. I have to admit vampire stories are not my jam, but this story is awesome. Skye is the perfect heroine and Lucas the great alpha. In true Kylie fashion it is the sub characters that add that oomph of color. Reading or listening you will not be disappointed Ms Arndts performance was perfection.

Low angst, witty banter, likable characters what’s not to like. I liked not loved but still a good read.

Performance, pace, potential

I love Kylie Scott books. This one felt rushed at the end. Why would a vampire romance not make the most of the bonding? It is just an afterthought mention in the epilogue? I was left wanting so much more from the story.

Fresh Vamp Story 2025

Lucas and Skye are the 2 main leads. I like the fresh Vampire story.
I am never disappointed in Kylie’s work - and this does not disappoint . It is a nice quick read with not a lot of depth-just a story that is entertaining and pretty straight forward…I wasn’t sure I liked the pace of the story-but I listened to the story for what it was -short and entertaining & not a lot of long drawn out explanations about any of the characters…I sat back and enjoyed it…

The choice of Narrators was A+…perfection! I have been a fan of Kylie’s for a long time & I plan to continue to be for the future…if she extends this Vampire story with Lucas’s sons or other made vampires-it could be pretty interesting …
