Resumen del Editor

“Be quiet and listen: He is cheating on you. The name of your soulmate is Alistair George Arthur Lennox. You will be passed over for the promotion. The winning numbers are 5-8-12-24-39-43. And I’m very sorry to tell you this, but you will die next Sunday.”

When Lilah Goodluck saves the life of Good Witch Willow as they’re crossing a busy L.A. street, the last thing she expects is five unwanted predictions as a reward. Who gives someone the winning lotto numbers then tells them they’ve only got a week to live? And who believes in that nonsense anyway?

But when the first three predictions come true within twenty-four hours, Lilah’s disbelief turns to mild panic. She’s further horrified when she nearly runs a car off the road that belongs to Alistair Lennox, who just happens to be the illegitimate son of the British king.

While Alistair is intrigued by her preposterous story, Lilah is adamant about resisting the heat between her and the playboy prince. If she denies he’s her soulmate, then the last prediction can’t come true, right? As the days count down, they become maybe friends…and then maybe more. But between the relentless paparazzi and some disapproving royals, finding time for love isn’t easy, especially when her days may be numbered.

Red White and Royal Blue meets The Last Holiday in this delightfully quirky novel from the New York Times bestselling author of End of Story, about a woman who unexpectedly finds "fall in love with a prince" at the top of her bucket list.

Loved Lila’s Luck!

I loved this book! I have to admit Kylie is an author I auto purchase and I genuinely feel like everything she writes is fantastic. That being said, I wasn’t sure what to think about the premise of this book. I love fun and quirky, but this was a different brand of that than she’s previously released. I shouldn’t have been surprised, but I admit to being caught off guard by how much I loved this book. The way it played out, the characters, Lila‘s character, in particular. All these things added to Andi’s performance made for an entertaining and enjoyable experience I am already thinking about listening to again.

Unpredictable & Great Narrator

This book has Likable characters and a well told not too long story.

I really thought as I began the book-that it was going to be predictable - but I was Very wrong and I was entertained the entire “8” hours of the audible book…

The Narrator is Excellent and I have listened to her before … A Narrator can truly Make or Break a book…

Honestly the Author is the only reason I bought the Audible. The book Cover(and I apologize ahead of time) made me look pass the book several times -even though Kylie was the author…but I had bought an audible that I didn’t care much for and wanted something else “RIGHT NOW” -so because I had Loved many of Kylie’s other books from her past -I decide to take a chance-other wise I wouldn’t have bought the book because of the Cover and I would’ve missed out on a really sweet story…

I hope many others take a chance and enjoy it as much as I have!

Fun and Heartwarming 🩷

Team Kylie and Andi do it again! Kylie Scott is my humor through and through. Ever since I found her while enjoying my Stage Dive boys she has been making me actually laugh out loud in public places with my AirPods on. This book was on par. Loved the story, the delivery, the main and minor characters, the overall message of the book, the diversity. Well done!
Andi has this ability to make you forget that you are only hearing one person… her male voices are wonderfully done. Another flawless performance!

Kylie keeps me coming back for more; loved it.

I will admit after her last book, End of Story, I was a little hesitant to take a chance on this one but I'm glad I did. Not being a fan of her Stage Dive series I will admit I'm a bit picky about my Kylie choices. When it comes to those I either love them or not love them. (hate is such a strong word). Repeat and Pause...loved them. Wouldn't mind more in that series. Fake and Famous in a Small Town...loved them too. If fact if you've read and like those last two, Fake and Famous in a Small Town, I think you'll enjoy this book too. It reminded me a lot of those. In fact, it had all the best elements of them combined into one story line. Now, on to my thoughts on this book: *possible spoilers ahead but not the ending*

The narration was great, but of course it was, Andi Arndt was doing the reading. I love her. lol We start out a Lilah's BFF birthday party. She's there to celebrate with her friend but has been avoiding the main entertainment...a fortune teller. They keep referring to her as a witch so I'm not sure what that was about. When it's Lilah's turn she's reluctant to participate and the time runs out and the old lady leaves. Lilah ends up going home early and finds herself waiting at a cross walk next to the fortune teller. When the light changes the old lady starts to cross and barely misses being run over by a car when Lilah pulls her back out of the way. The old lady feels she owes Lilah a reward and gifts her with some of the things she didn't ask earlier but thought. She told her that her boyfriend was cheating, the next winning lotto numbers, she wouldn't get the promotion, and who her soul mate was, and that she was going to die in 8 days before leaving Lilah standing there speechless. Lilah stops to pick up some acetaminophen and puts those lotto numbers to use while she's at it. She arrives home early to a find a flustered boyfriend who tries to prevent her from going into the bathroom for the first aid kit to tend her scraped palms. Yup, you guessed it. There was a girl in there. Of course she does what any self respecting woman does and kicks him to the curb. After telling him to pack his s**t and get out she leaves. When she gets to work the next day she finds out she didn't get that promotion she was hoping for and it was already given to someone else. She leaves work early upset and crashes her car driving away and narrowly misses another car doing so. The other car just happens to be driven by the same guy that was named as her soul mate. Denying his identity the whole time she runs off to a bar to drown her sorrows. He follows her and they start talking. The lotto drawing comes on the bar tv and she's successfully picked 5 of the 6 numbers because she could only remember those 5. NOW she's getting worried when it looks like the old lady may have been on to something. She didn't want to die in 8 days. Her soul mate asks her what's wrong and she tells him. He laughs it off, pays for her tab, then leaves her in the bar telling her to have a nice life. He doesn't stay gone though.

This is where I end my review because I don't want to give too much away but it only gets better from there. This is absolutely one of Kylie's better books. If you liked the same books I do that she's written, you'll enjoy this one too.

Kylie Scott will forever be my queen 🤍

She seriously never misses. Lovable characters, good humor and an easy love story. Even though it was a one week time span, the romance was more of a slow burn than the insta-love I expected. The anticipation was killer and the pacing was done well. I appreciated that the idea of it all happening in a week was believable and probable. I love his mom and thought the ending was clever. This is one of my new favorites now. I love her famous guy meets normal girl arcs. I honestly will never truly know which one is my actual favorite. The only thing I hate about reading her books is how I always get through them right away and have to reread them until the next one comes out. I tried waiting with this one and it still feels like I read it too soon.
