Imperial Rift

Starship Fleet Commander, Book 10

By: Aer-ki Jyr

Narrated by: Stephen Day

Defection. Once it starts, the flood gates open as Imperial troops sent to the Frontier to die for the Emperor suddenly see a chance to survive by hopping across the border into the Green Empire. The mass civilian exodus was bad enough, but when the Emperor's own fleet starts doing so in alarming numbers only a bit of trickery on the part of the Emperor is going to lead to victory before he loses too many ships to the growing sanctuary of sanity that is the Green Empire.

Sci-fi Space Opera with Mich More!

I'm not sure what I appreciate most about Aer Ki-jer's protagonist, but a thoroughly moral, incorruptible hero who genuinely values people's lives is a good starting point. The author's tendency to incorporate logistics, culture, politics and economics in the mix makes the stories even more interesting. Stephen Day's narration is different but has grown on me. My biggest issue is thinking of the Vixot population as human! Great stuff!

Love the series, good chapter

Wish that a thetan like Grand Admiral Aatroxiss exists, love the whole thing more then star force, or maybe equal
