One of the best Military Sci-fi Books out there!!!

finally a book that understands how to upscale the Military properly. I have read many Military Sci-fi books where the Military only consists of about 50-300 ships and maybe 100-300.000 "Personel" in total even though they have at least 20+ planets filled with billions of people and then the Aliens arrive and destroy almost the entire navy at once. Only for the MC to arrive and begin to fight back BUT then they only send maybe 15-30.000 "marines" to take over an entire PLANET. with few to None Support vehicles (tanks,Fighters m.m.)

In this book there is a Properly big military to protect and defend the Union. When the aliens attacks the Union loses a couple of fleets and a LOT of personnel but because the union have 50+ Planets with Billions or Millions of people they have i don't know how many ships and 10-30 million personnel so you get the feeling that there is a real military and its not just the MC that needs to save the day with his fellow Marines but he is just one of many soldiers fighting to protect their loved once.

SPOILER!
for example when the Aliens attack an Planet with billions of people on it, they destroy the fleet Stationed in the system and then Invade and wipe out almost the Entire Garrison, but not before the Union sends backup (MC among them) and when they're almost done fighting a new taskforce with “fresh” Marines arrives and take over mopping up the remaining alien stragglers.

I can't wait for Book 2 to hit Audible and I will buy it as soon as it hits 10/10 Stars.

Oh and by the way this book could easily take place in the 1940s or 2000s
since it reads like a classic/modern Military action Movie/story but in the future/Space
