Three hearts. One consuming fire.
Julian Kade hates everyone. But when a power outage traps him in a Paris elevator with sharp-tongued chef Freya Kapoor and charming street fighter Archer Wilde, an unexpected spark ignites between them. By the end of the twelve hours that follow, they’ve shared their darkest desires…and formed a bond none of them could have expected.
Freya Kapoor has dreams, and getting sidetracked by two billionaires wasn't part of her careful plan. But when the two men who’ve begun to dominate her body and mind present Freya with a chance to open the restaurant of her dreams, boundaries quickly blur…and her orderly world gets increasingly complicated.
Archer Wilde never thought he'd stop fighting long enough to get tangled up with two such different people. Yet the three of them fit together like nothing before, unlocking hidden desires they never knew they craved. But beneath the perfect facade are three individuals battling demons of their own. Ultimately, as passion deepens into something far more dangerous, Freya, Julian, and Archer will have to choose whether they're willing to risk everything they’ve built for a love as fierce as it is free.

The story itself was fantastic. Who would’ve thought… a chef, a fighter, and a businessman? I love good dialogue, not just spice. Nothing wrong with it, but sometimes a girl wants a little conversation before getting acquainted with private parts 😂 I really enjoyed the character development and felt like I truly got to know each of them, which is what made this book so great. I haven’t read anything remotely similar, and I loved that.
I do have to say, though, you did Daddy Kade dirty with the line “Amelia’s much older father.” I cackled because how rude 😂😂
I am obsessed with these characters and narrators👏🏼👏🏼

Narrator/Performance Review:
🎧The audiobook narrators are divine. Holy crap, my mind is still blown away by the performance. Each character's unique traits and the spicy scenes were acted out incredibly by the voice actors that portrayed Freya, Archer and Julien. These characters are trying to "find themselves" all while experiencing mental health issues, family intricacies, and navigating a new and unorthodox relationship and you can tell the narrators really immersed themselves into the emotions conveyed through Sara's writing. I could feel all of that emotion come through in the audio experience.
All five narrators made this an immersive experience and I seriously can’t think of anything I disliked about the performance. I truly felt transported into the Salacious Legacy world and it was such an enjoyable and entertaining experience.
Book/Story Review:
This book is everything I’ve come to know and love from Sara Cate and her fictional SPC and Salacious Legacy world. The emotional depth of the characters, the natural chemistry and plot development, the realistic emotional struggles and relationship building, all woven together in a memorable love story.
I know I’m a sucker for throuples and poly books, but this book had me in a chokehold. The characters felt so raw and real and Sara made us fall in love with three perfectly imperfect main characters that literally compliment each other so well. Archer and Julien are absolutely electric together and then when you add in Freya with them both, it’s such a beautiful connection between the three.
We all know I’m emotional in general, but almost every interaction with one of our main characters and their respective parent(s) made me tear up. Julien realizing he needs to appreciate time with his dad, Ronan, and not take him for granted really got me. (Probably because I no longer have that time with my dad.) Freya was so nervous to tell her mom about their non-traditional relationship and then her mom’s response just healed something inside me. Archer finally calling his mom after being so distant and just simply telling her that he missed her and clearing the air of expectations that he had wrongly put on himself was so wholesome.
Overall this was a 5 star read and listen for me. I can’t think of a single thing that I disliked.
