Publisher's summary

Lord, help me....

A beautiful, young American girl wound up stranded far from home on my doorstep.
When she begged me to stay, I did what a good priest would do, and I said yes.

But a good priest wouldn’t spend his days thinking about the fullness of her ruby red lips or feel the sting of envy with the way she draws men to her like flies to honey.

A good priest would have stopped things before that first touch. And he certainly wouldn’t have given into temptation so easily, but when Cadence Thorn walked in, she brought me to my knees.

A good priest takes his vows seriously.
But I am not a good priest.

**Beautiful Sinner is a stand-alone, HEA romance appropriate for 18+ listeners.

Deliciously Sinful

So excited to see Cadence got a book! She is still up to her wild ways and gets stranded by a guy while in Ireland who uses and robs her. She’s staying at a B&B where Father Callum works. He is 20 years older. The chemistry is crazy and plenty of sinful scenes in the church. Loved to see how they fell and fought their feelings with a great HEA. Always get excited when we get two epilogues since I always want more of the characters.
Narration was good.

Intense Forbidden Romance

Cadence and Father Callum's forbidden romance is intense and intriguing, filled with drama. Auri Alden and Stephen Borne did a great job with the narration. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Brilliant Story & Listen🎧Wonderfully Enthralling!

Sara Cate creates another amazing novel, an age-gap forbidden taboo type romance. Like her other books it is well written and well told, the story grabs your attention right from the start and captivates it straight to the end. The characters are realistic and complex, they are easy to relate to and connect with. Cadence Thorn, a 24 year old American from L.A. was touring Europe with a bunch of Americans, she met Clint on the tour who convinced her to go rogue and off on their own with a few of his friends. After checking into a B&B in Ireland they are off to the pub, the next thing she is aware of is waking up in the B&B alone, Clint and his friends are gone, so is the car, her bags, money, credit cards and ID passport. She has been scammed, thankfully Bridget from the B&B is kind and understanding and helps her, Cadence is not too thrilled with the male at the B&B who turns out to be her brother Callum, he is not as friendly as his sister and we soon learn why. Bridget is widowed and is running the B&B on her own, Callum is the Priest of the local parish helps her when he can. When Cadence learns they are hiring she wants the job, Bridget is pleased but Callum does not think she can do the job but agrees to hire her on a trial basis. Cadence is determined to prove him wrong. OMG, those two, the air between them is electrified as is their chemistry. She winds up surprising him, proving herself, she also turns in to a temptation for him, one he fights and then he starts to question is faith and why he chose it. The character growth in this book is remarkable, the story takes you on an emotional rollercoaster ride and is beautifully plotted with drama, angst, heartfelt moments and a slow burn, romance. Sara Cate, thank you for another awesome story.

🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Auri Aiden and Stephen Borne are talented narrators and voice artists. They did an awesome job bringing the characters to life, giving each their own voice and personality. Their portrayal of the each character was spot on, sounding just as I picture them to sound. I loved how they took each role and made it their own, fabulous Irish accent and all. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all of the characters emotions and projected them into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the awesome listen🎧

Beautiful Sinner

This book/listen🎧was a little difficult to listen to since I’m Catholic and worked for the Church for decades. Thankfully I never fell in love with any clergy since I was already happily married to my husband. But I had known a priest that actually left his calling to marry a layperson so it’s all real and true. This book is kinda a follow up to Beautiful Monster which was good but both books are stand alone’s but helpful if read to fully understand some of the characters background. The book is full of very bad choices, complicated situations, mega moral dilemmas, sadness, love and a HEA. Is it worth the credit? Hell Yes, in my humble opinion this is worth your time…Enjoy❣️

priest trope + forbidden + age gap

5/5 Stars 3.5/5 Spice

Tropes:
Priest
Boss x Employee
Age Gap
Forbidden

🎧 Narration: the male narrator had such a sultry voice with his accent & the female narrator did an excellent job with her emotions & tone. i do think this one would have benefitted from being duet. their interpretations of the others voice were…meh. the rest however was fantastic.

i love priest trope & this one came highly recommended. i loved them so much. their story was so raw & their emotions & fears were so palpable the entire story. i loved callum & his internal struggle. he was so doting but so vulnerable. & when everything came to a head & he had this moment where he realized exactly what he wanted - i could have screamed with happiness. the ending & the epilogue were absolutely perfect.

“our love is not a sin - it’s salvation.”

What a short and sweet read

Sara Cate sure brought the forbidden-ness here. Who knew I had a thing for Priest romances?!?

This one is hot and forbidden and the Irish accent just *does* something to me 🤣😮‍💨
