Summary

The complete series

Dynasty (Book 1)
Damaged (Book 2)
Deviant (Book 3)
Deity (Book 4)

Intimidating. Fearless. Destructive.

They’re everything a girl shouldn’t want. Too bad this foster girl never had a daddy to chase away the monsters because I’m a sucker for a bad boy … or four. Carver, King, Cruz, and Grayson—the Kings of Ravenwood Heights.

When I was forced to come here, I was expecting just another run-down town to add to the ever-growing list of unwanted homes. What I wasn’t expecting was them. They’re dangerous and they're keeping one hell of a secret—a secret that's going to change it all.

Boys of Winter is a Dark, Enemies to Lovers, Reverse Harem Romance. It contains explicit sexual content, graphic violence, and coarse language.

– Book 1 - Dynasty –
Exactly what I expected (and needed) after just binging books 2-4, because PFP issued me those 3 codes, after I’d missed out on book 1. Well done, dark, still mysterious, filled in any non-existent holes … (obviously I already knew how things ended up so they weren’t true holes in my brain anymore).

– Book 2 - Damaged –

Gets off to a very dramatic start and having missed book 1, I do feel a little bit lost but the author does a good job of showing so I can pretty much catch up (I think) for the most part, quickly.

The relationships are still sorta forming / working out their kinks / developing, etc. so romance-wise, you can come in late like I did, though it’s not optimal. Suspense-y / action-y / crime family-wise, I think I’ve got the gist of it, and find it exciting. And at about 32 chapters in, Winter/Elodie catches her bestie up on (at least some of) book 1’s events, filling me in what I think is pretty much the rest of what I need to know.

Anne packs in so many juicy tropes / aspects /etc., I’ll do my best to list them:

⛓️ Captivity.
🔪 Rival families.
⛓️ Danger.
🔪 Mafia / crime family vibes.
⛓️ Betrayal.
🔪 Spicy YA (heroine is 18) / NA (heroes are a bit older).
⛓️ So many scandals.
🔪 Many, many steamy scenes, some of which are in ‘inappropriate’ places. Fun & age-appropriate when I remember these are teenagers.
⛓️ Suspense.
🔪 Vengeance.
⛓️ Broken heroine / heroes.
🔪 Strong girl-bestie!
⛓️ Very strong FMC. Epic.
🔪 Mass chaos.

Winter / Elodie is very wise beyond her years—at times I had a little trouble picturing an 18 year-old saying some of the things she did … but then having missed book 1, I’m going to assume she didn’t live an easy life and had to grow up fast—which would make this plausible.

I did predict this one’s ending pretty exactly—feeling like I have a feel for this author’s style after binge-reading another series of hers. But it’s a good style, no complaints whatsoever. Overall:

4 stars.

Audio:
This is a perfect specimen, as far as audiobooks go. High-quality sound overall, and a narrator who performs it well and makes it feel like a full cast. 🦩🦩🦩🦩🦩

– Book 3 - Deviant –

Gets *right* into the action/drama/danger and picks up just where the previous book ended—good continuity and way to kick things off.
It’s basically non-stop action and as someone who is literally NEVER surprised, I did not see that ending coming and am still not 100% sure I believe it. I mean, it doesn’t look good but … we’ll see I guess. (IYKYK and I’m open to chatting about this!)

Obviously I absolutely need to read on to book 4, wow.
Well played, author, well played.
5 stars for surprising me, as this never happens.

These narrators sound amazing and the overall sound quality is high. 🦩

– Book 4 - Deity –

Aptly titled because she is a goddess!

Thankfully, book 4 picks up right where book 3 left off because man, that cliffhanger! Tensions are high and it’s very well done.

The entire book went by in a breeze, it’s fast-paced due to all the non-stop action and still manages to be humorous and super sweet at times. These leads have a ton going on, but it’s all wrapped up in this final installment and it’s done so with stellar continuity.

This author has a talent for writing PURE CHAOS, while still demonstrating advanced character development and inserting just the write amount of drama. There’s lots of violence and this is well-executed in a way that for the most part, it’s pretty satisfying. As someone who had a very dark start to life, I found parts of this series thought-provoking and even therapeutic at times. Thank you, author, for sharing your talent in this manner.

5 stars for making me think and executing everything so expertly.

Audio:
This narrator is amazing—I really felt like I was listening to the female lead herself. Tone, emotions, etc. were perfect throughout the series (or at least books 2-4, as I missed book 1). Perfect sound quality as well–
5 stars. 🦩

OK, so I went into this with very high hopes I needed a good completed series and RH with some dark elements, but not so over the top dark elements. I have to say the performance was good. A little disappointed there was no male narrator however, the female narrator did a great job doing both voices. I didn’t miss it too much but like I said, it would’ve been nice to have the guys’s perspective as well. The storyline is a good storyline. I enjoyed the whole idea, however the FMC just ugh… there’s a lot to unpack there. There are times where she needs to be the bad ass leader that is required, and she pulls it off fabulous however she is very childish and stubborn and overly self-confident in other ways and it gets very annoying…. It’s kind of like a face palm every time she like thinks she is the bad ass boss bitch when meanwhile she’s never held a gun, she’s very righteous in one breath, and then very not in the other. I don’t know how to explain it, but it’s just very annoying. In some moments, you’re proud of like how she speaks and in the very next breath you’re like are you stupid?

Good storyline!!

Boys of Winter Complete Series by Sheridan Anne is an enemies to lovers why choose romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Kelsey Navarro.

I absolutely love Sheridan's books! I was hooked from the first book and couldn't wait to see how Winter's story would play out. I loved the relationship between Winter, Cruz, Kring, Carver, and Grayson. It was messy but you couldn't help but root for them.

Kelsey did an amazing job on the narration. She really knows how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of her work in the future.

I would highly recommend this series if you're looking for an enemies to lovers romance, why choose romance, dark romance, or romantic suspense.

Sheridan Anne does NOT disappoint!! I have loved every book so far. This series has been full of spice, plot, action, twists, and turns. I loved it! The last book got a little gruesome, but it was brief and did not keep me from loving it.

I loved it!
